I just put up my 'looking for role-players' post again. my list of threads has thinned out quiet a bit, and i think it might be fun to start something new

well, it's not OVER, but ADmiral3 is in college. As much as I love working with him, It's obviously much more important for him to focus on his studies. It'll still be there when he has some free time

One idea I've always liked for a fantasy style is to have a classic D&D style paladin who has to enter into temptation to get their mission done, but who has always been taught that their spiritual powers would be lost if they actually give in to that temptation. In forum stories we often have a reluctant character, but it's usually soon enough that they're getting naked. This would put a strong story reason into holding off on the sex, building a lot of tension.

Then, once they do give in to temptation or are brought low by seduction (and/or seduction magic) then you get to either deal with redemption, a fallen/changed paladin, or the doubt and confusion if they find they still have their powers after losing their high chaste state despite what their church/temple has always taught them.

that would be fun, but I think you'd need someone that enjoys buildup as much as you do.

have you actually considered writing it as a single story? I imagine a story like that written by you would be a LOT of fun

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. One thing I am finding about post-stories vs writing is that having a partner makes sure that I keep writing and finish things. I've got maybe a half-dozen half-written stories in various google docs.

This idea probably wouldn't work as much as the classic paired POV characters, since it probably would be more single character in a open world - which I know isn't your style for these.

Well I just watched the entire first season of supergirl in two days and it gave me a ton of ideas. Basically just my original character coming into the show and becoming her boyfriend without knowing her secrets. I have a shit ton of ideas for villains and storyline to go along with it. And because I got my start with action writing I really feel I can make a super hero thread pop.

how exactly do you imagine two people seducing their way to a target? like, tandem james bonds? or are you thinking two women?

It could be any combination of genders, or given shapeshifting magic it might even be whatever gender is needed at the moment. Sexy doppelgangers, anyone?

Yeah, the "seduce" aspect could range from the benign (a flash of skin distracts a guard or other key person while the partner sneaks past) to the full-on sexual (get Baron Hasthekeys into bed - or seduce his daughter/son to get into the protected estate).
