She asks me as I walk by, is there anything you’re afraid of?

I look back at her as I never walk slowly. She saw the confusion on my face.

Some people are afraid of clowns. I wouldn’t want to dress up as a clown if you were afraid of them.

As my hand rested on the door handle, I said, rejection and failure.

I entered the other room of the office and I could hear her say as the door was swinging shut, I do really good clown makeup.

I suggested months ago that she has to replace her fast food with rice cakes to lose weight. Not eat rice cakes in addition.

I think most of us a afraid of rejection and failure, unfortunately it's part of life. For some all the time not so much for others.

Maybe I will unpack my glove, and place it under my pillow.

Maybe it is time to move to a warmer climate.

T-shirts. Flip flops. Retirement community for litsers.
