My wife and I have three kids, under 8, and while I don't travel we have a tough time finding time for each other. It's either late at night when we're both tired, or early morning, or we have to find a babysitter. Sex isn't as important to my wife as it is to me but we manage once a week or so and I can't complain. I hope it gets easier when they're all older.

I don't think it will get easier. I thought the same way before, but as the kids get older, they have more activities and less time just for the two of us.
 
You have to actually schedule time. My wife hated when it was less spontaneous but such is the busy life of people these days. I love my work and so does my wife, we used to get to busy for each other so when we hit a rut or two we had to sit down and make a plan. Which lead us to where we are today. We still schedule sex but we also have way more spontaneity, so it comes back. You do have to work at it together constantly. There is always something trying to sneak in to steal you both away.

Unfortunately, that is true - parenting and life don't magically get easier. You try to find a new way to work satisfying sex back into your relationship. That is about the best you can do.
