I've been curious to know for a long time..... If this intended to be a list, and advertisement, for people with KIK who are interested in chatting......we come here, we post our handles and what our interests are and then wait for replies; WHY oh WHY does every page fill up with the same people posting...like clockwork?

You at the top? You're post is already two pages back....we got it. You, in the middle there? Yours is one page back...we got it already as well. (Not pointing anyone particular out, this was just as example) Maybe it just eludes me as to what the impulse is to chain post your KIK on every new page that appears. My KIK post? Is several weeks back there. If someone was interested enough, and they have been, they would do their homework and find it. If you aren't getting results the first time....(Or if you ARE getting results) I don't think your continued effort is going to change anything.

Of course...that's just me. I might be missing something to help me rationalize this behavior.

Some folks don't check the past pages, only the current one. There may be a perfectly good contact 5 pages back, but that's too much work. Just post again and hope a wandering eye picks you first.

Both are very good points. I think I've posted my username a few times, mostly just to bump the thread, but also because I doubt most people will go digging through countless pages for my nondescript handle.

Sometimes I think the issue lies in a breakdown of actual conversation, of course I'm not referring to you personally Sassy as I haven't had the pleasure of your conversation.
But so many instances of a lady expressing desire for conversation results in questions and reasonable expression that receive an unenthusiastic and all together uninspired reply. It's quite difficult to maintain motivation of conversation, or even literate expressed lust when the vast majority of interaction is... Disheartening.

You make a very valid point, which was just presented somewhere else on the boards a few days ago but is worth reiterating.

There seems to be a very unforgiving black and white way of looking at it: men are ridiculed and ignored for coming out of the gates with a picture, but then when they try to strike up a casual conversation with reasonable expressions like you pointed out, there is a severe lack of sincerity and enthusiasm returned to them; it seems as if they aren't outrageously interesting from the initial contact, then they will receive either lackluster responses or none at all.
