Yep, but they weren't from lit. One I found from the reviews. Rare because absolutely chockablock with kids nowadays. Its a great platform, quick and easy, and much more reliable than yahoo. Great way yo share pics. I like that you can see if your msg has been read too.

Good to hear. I have yet to have any contact on kik with someone from lit but have had some great experiences there. It does make conversation quick and easy and, like you say, picture sharing is easy. I have read that loads of kids use it so i tend to avoid chatting with anyone there i am not sure about or who just randomly message me

Its very rare for me to get a random msg from a stranger because there isn't a list of kik userids, so people lookin for new contacts have to look through the reviews or some other user input directory, and I am not on any. I guess if you have a pretty generic user id you might get randoms

it has not happened much, only on a few occasions. i did see websites where people advertise their usernames but seemed to be populated by kids. Where are the reviews?

Reviews of the app on play store I meant. 1% are proper reviews, the rest are ads. Still full of kids last time I looked (over a year ago)

Presumably because it then is no longer a private message exchange between users. They probably assume that anyone receiving abuse via PM would just ignore the abuser

I wasn't aware of that rule, but I'd be in favor of it; I think it would ease some of the pains of initiating interactions that we've been talking about.

@London, I feel where you're coming from, but nobody deserves to receive an unwarranted abusive PM from anyone, no matter if it's man to woman or woman to man. It shouldn't be the recipient's responsibility to suck it up and ignore harsh, scathing and degrading words and nuances.

I do agree with you, just guessing what the site admin view would be on the matter. Fortunately everyone i have ever chatted with on here, both in public and PM, have always been very nice, never had an issue at all.

Where was the agreement to enter pm with abuser? I don't mean revealing real name or anything that may identify you, just the fact that said person sent such a msg in the first place.
