Hell In The Pacific (1968) Directed by John Boorman. With Lee Marvin, Toshirô Mifune.
During World War II, a shot-down American pilot and a marooned Japanese navy captain find themselves stranded on the same small uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean. Each gets his chance to capture the other. They become friends and end up joining forces to build and man a raft.
Aside from extensive domination and bondage as each in turn gets the upper hand, there is a goodly measure of survivalism in primitive and isolated conditions (Robinson Crusoe-ish) as well as illustratively addressing the immorality and senselessness of war.
Interestingly, my understanding is that Lee Marvin was in fact a WWII Pacific Theater infantry vet, so he did have some first hand knowledge and life experience to bring to his role.
Has anyone mentioned the rape scene in High Plains Drifter with Clint Eastwood?

When this came out, I was moderating on a different BDSM forum and the majority of people there seemed to hate it because they thought it portrayed kinky people as being weird/mentally ill etc...
But I quite enjoyed the movie myself![]()

But redeeming it, I thought the climactic scene was exceptionally artful and inspiring. She's latched on to this desk. And all society tries to lure her and (literally) force her to abandon her submission (that desk). And she has to have this superhuman strength and devotion to hold on to and stay focused on her submission and her personal dedication to her submission. Now that is very, very true to life. I think a woman has to have that kind of strength, at least to be a woman who is attractive to me.
Did "Secretary" have to be perfect to be a good BDSM movie? i mean, do we know people that have a "perfect" BDSM relationship and life? Was it better that the two main characters had serious flaws?
I figured out why I watch movies where shit blows up. Because at least for one scene in every one of them Our Hero is totally fucked up by the powers that be.
And I can pretend I am them and masturbate later.
That's how far I have to twist shit around to find my porn.
Lots of blowing stuff up, too.I figured out why I watch movies where shit blows up.
Do you ever watch "Mythbusters" to watch them blow up stuff?
Yes. And hello, those guys are like Queer Eye for the science nerd.
That reminded me of another flick! Long Kiss Goodnight, with Geena Davis. I love the scene where she's tied to the water wheel. The whole movie had me in various states of arousal, but that was near-peak.Lots of blowing stuff up, too.
Multiple husbands have always made far more sense to me than multiple wives for some reason.
*smiles sweetly*
