Kinky movies (whether they mean to be or not)

This will probably reflect badly on me, but I’m gonna say, “Audition”. The first half is all d/s, the second half is s/m. The bad part is both the submissive, and the masochist aren’t really that. *shrugs*

There was a couple of scenes in the film Sliver that did it for me. I liked the part where they are eating out and he asks her to show her bra and panties and also the scene where he follows her into her appartment, not totally explicit but done it for me when I watched a few years back.

I just watched Sunset Boulevard again last night, and I just have to say, the way Norma Desmond absolutely possesses Joe is a little suggestive. Just watching her hands (or more aptly, claws) curl around him, drawing him to her...

Jet Li's Unleashed.

I feel very wrong being kind of turned on by this.

I was reminded recently of the scene in Manon des Sources (Manon of the Spring) in which Ugolin finds a ribbon belonging to his beloved Manon. He then sews the ribbon to his chest in an act of devotion. It's important context here that his devotion to Manon is completely unrequited. I'm not at all into needle play or anything else involving sharp points or edges - but this one scene ought to appeal to those for whom such practices are attractive.

That's a nice pick. I wasn't really hip to any of this stuff when I first saw the film, but I remember being struck by it.

Ha ha ha, totally!!!

I think this represented some rare margin of subby fantasyland I could get into. Having some kind of super macho ability like a mastery of whupping ass makes being subby seem much more palatable.

I'm not sure if it has been mentioned, but Hard Candy was essentially one long mind fuck that took the entire movie to play out. That a 16 year old could be that devious...

well we say it so often as a community - being an msub doesn't mean being feminine, doesn't mean being wimpy blah blah, (not that I MIND those things, I tend to appreciate them and puzzle over "manliness" as a pasttime of mine) - but I feel like there are so few explorations of what it means to be someone else's finely tuned arrow or bullet or hammer - and the movies that tend to appeal to my imagination tend to be hypermasculine/fight/war things for this reason. I'm not a fight junkie per se, it's the power dynamics UPON the hero that interest me.

The tough guy in most good narratives is stuck in situations outside his control and actually a very power-less character in a lot of cases. This just really manifests it in a kind of "this should not be sexy" way for me.

Doesn't have to be a dude. But V for vendetta and GI Jane are really two of the only films that tripped my sub buttons much.

Been soaking in a lot of Eastwood stuff lately - there's a man who fucks with the conventions. Firefox is a movie where you basically have the tough guy completely lost and scared-survival mode until he gets into the (womb) cockpit of the plane and has this very zen kind of liberation - then he's on top of the situation finally. For like, the last two minutes of the film.

If it looks like I stretch things and dig a lot, it's because when your sexuality is this marginal, you have to really work to carve yourself a little pleasureable niche as a viewer. But I think you *can* - that's what's really neat to me. Maybe when there isn't much in the way of conventional hetero plotline I have more freedom to do this.

Mickey Rourke's storyline in Sin City did it for me pretty good.

I have to try that one more time. I just could NOT get into it. The stylization made me feel like I was watching high school theater, it was something about the lighting.

marilyn manson's 'heart shaped glasses" video does me in every time..I think it might have a lot to do with the "choking" during their sex scenes and knowing that since they're together in real life it might not be so much of an acting thing, if it is she's already a better faker than the women in porn.

The rape scene in the asylum in rob zombie's Halloween was also kinda hot.

Bad at titles!

This older post of mine turned up as shrapnel while searching for something entirely different for the BDSM Library, might make a good resource for this thread.

Extensive List of Mainstream Movies that carry in part BDSM/fetish theme.

Well Rebecca since you have such an extensive list, I will ask you if you know the
name of this movie. I am so bad at remembering movie names and names of songs.

Anyway, I hope I have not posted this one on here before, I looked back a few pages and did not see it.

The movie is about a woman who travels to Columbia-I think or somewhere in South America--where this drug lord lives. All I remember was she was doing her best to get an interview with him to ask him about his business, the drug business etc etc.

I think the woman was the same woman who stared in "Coma" with Michael Douglas.

Finally she gets to Columbia and the drug lord grants her and interview but he shows up with two very HOT women in tow. They are both wearing short mini skirts and are clearly his sexual playthings. When the woman interviewer meets him you can tell she has an instant attraction to him even though or especially because he is the bad boy. He recognizes this and begins to play with her with his talk and touch. The climax of the scene REALLY is a climax!

In front of the woman intereviewer the drug lord begins to talk about how good he is in bed and reaches under one of his sub's skirts. She is clearly embarrassed but she can not deny him, so we watch as he brings her to a quick and very intense orgasm with his fingers. Afterwards he licks his fingers and says, "You like?"

Very hot film....someone please remember the name of this one!

If it's the actress from Coma that would be Genevieve Bujold. If you IMDB her it'll give you a list of her films and maybe you'll recognize the title. It sounds like quite a hot scene.

Thanks

Thanks, Yes I am familiar with the Internet Movie Database. I will look her up.

Going Under - a very unseen movie that finally made it onto DVD. Great exploration of a Domme and client pairing. Everyone I know in the biz who saw it said it seemed like a bit of recognizable reality.

Ok, Lazy Poster here (didn't read the rest) but has anyone mentioned Colin Farrell's rape scene in Alexander?
