Let's Rock

Not bad, a little too country for my personal tastes.

You know, if those people performing their acts on stage had sob stories that could have been an AGT episode
I don't know if this is too country for you or not. In Oklahoma, they call this "Red Dirt" instead of bluegrass.

Is Fleetwood Mac considered rock?

Stevie Nicks locking eyes with Lindsey Buckingham for a solid minute at the end of this song is probably the most dramatic thing that has ever been recorded on video 😰

I saw them on the more recent tour, without Lindsey, but with nice guy Neil Finn and Mike Campbell (the show in this clip). I'm glad that I did, firstly because as it turns out that was the last chance to see Christine McVie, but also because they looked so happy without Lindsey!

Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name" has always been my go-to "aggressive song I need to blast in the car to deal with the dim-witted drivers on the road". Sadly still very relevant in today's day and age.

The Warning is a trio of sisters from Mexico who can really shred, taking inspiration from a lot of classic rock bands who have already been represented in this thread. 🤘

Oh, I have a whole WinAmp playlist for this kind of music. The playlist is titled With My Cock Out.

Here's one I've been enjoying lately, screaming along to.

One of my favorite songs, period. Absolution was the first album I ever bought back in 2003 when I was 13 years old. That album started a lifelong love of Muse's work.

This one is special to me. It's amazing how such things can take you back to a time earlier in your life. Even with all the horrendous memories of Vietnam, like all things it wasn't 100% that way. Some moments were just beautiful, rare but beautiful. Sitting on top of a bunker at midnight, a full moon in the sky, the reup frogs and fuckyou lizards singing from the jungle, stoned, with Carlos' guitar spilling out from the bunker and gently swirlling into the night. Yeah sometimes it made you forget where you were.

antmusic for sex people

from someone too many people associate with only one song... a lot of Adams early stuff is very Lit worthy, too ( Whip In My Valise, anyone?)

the teased Adam song....

"Your sadistic suits my masochistic, there's a whip in my valise....who taught you to torture, who taught you..."

Adam is also, as one of my dear lesbian friends (I think it was Abs, but it might have been Lucky) once pointed out, "the guy we need to bring in if we want to see Bel get fucked by a dude."

For some reason, a lot of my friends here who were definitely playing for team LGBT wanted to see me switch teams around that time. Or it was just something to tease me about, as I often found myself the only man in the room at our Litogethers. i know they were often tickled when carson_shepard would flirt with me and I would go ahead and flirt back...but Carson and I had an understanding. I knew he was actually truly attracted, but we had established in private talks that I loved pussy as much as my lesbian friends and was not really interested in his equipment, any more than they were. We did establish that if I ever changed my mind, I had to give him first dibs. He was a good dude and a good Lit friend.

How about something from a Litizen? the lead singer here is Kat Dixon, who frequented the AH a little bit, once upon a time. Her mother, Vella_La, was a constant presence in the early 2000's... and a dear friend.

Oh yeah. That bassline is phenomenal. The album brings back a specific memory for me. Around 2008 I was attending a conference in Iceland, and staying at a hotel about 30 minutes' walk away through a deceptively quiet landscape. I had just gotten into Muse. Every day I would do that walk with Absolution playing through the headphones to get me in the mood for the conference, and the crashing chords of 'Apocalypse Please' (appropriate to the themes of the conference) getting the blood pumping. By the time we got to Hysteria, I was arriving at the conference venue and ready to start my day. So for me, that album is about tortured earth and erupting volcanoes (not unlike Bjork's clip for 'Joga'). And of course, Butterflies and Hurricanes. For me, that was peak Muse.
