Ahhh...Free Comic Book Day next weekend. Proving the old adage that sometimes your stuff sucks so much you actually have to give it away.

I take the day off every year. I'm part of a group of local artists that settle in the long tables of the local comic shop for that day and draw free sketch cards for any kid that comes through and asks for one.

Last year was hard though, I kept having to look up the characters from kids cartoons because I didn't have a clue who say, Perry the Platypus was.

No idea... Whatever was on cartoon network around 8...

Sounds like, no I'm absolutely sure that's a line from Boondocks. Was he watching adult swim? Actually, I think it was a line from A Pimp Named Slickback specifically.

The place I go to does that too, but its so tiny in there that the artists end up elbowing each other and everything looks like Happy Noodle Boy by the time they're done. "ITS BATMAN!" "Oh." *Blank stare*



I don't... think? He was watching Boondocks... I do tend to leave the tv on all night, and know I fell asleep watching Family Guy.... Maybe it got changde to the West Coast CN and was still playing their AS? But when I peeked back in after hearing it, the chars on the screen looked like pokemon or something. He may've been flipping through? *Shrugs* He hasn't said anything related to it, but has been singing "I'm Sexy and I know it" with his name replacing "Sexy".
