Personally, I would vote for the wilder styles. I especially like women's (long) legs in stockings with seams and cotsets.
Above that, anything goes and the wilder the better

I can only speak from my experience about the kind of lingerie my man likes... the other day I had a new green silk and lace bra and matching panties and he didn't even look twice at them... but I have this black thong that has these little straps that go across my back and he loves snapping them against my skin... so you tell me... $45 for silk and lace and nothing... but $8 for a black thong... mmmm I know what I'll be buying... LOL

I guess black and red do something for the male sexdrive, I guess (there is a generally accepted view that this stems from the fact at in parts of Europe throughout the centuries only prostitutes wore these colors).

I bought my first one. it was a flowered black nylon one. Lose bra and matching thong. I mailed it to the women of my dreams since we where living 4000 miles apart at that time. (lingerie is the perfect gift for long distance lovers. it weigths nothing so you can spend on the inside of the package and not on stamps)

Ok....I'm a guy, and admit that I have long had a thing for women in lingerie.

First off, I don't like to wear it myself. It looks much better on a feminine form.

I like all kinds: bras & panties; teddies; camisoles; tap pants; silky robes; slips; corsets......just about anything that is normally meant to be worn under something else.

For me, silk is really nice; but just plain cotton can be very sexy as well. I prefer the VS styles over the Fredrick's.....but that's just me. I like buying it for my women, and enjoy the wonderful treatment that the salesgirls like to give, knowing a guy is buying something like that for someone he cares about.

Colors? My all time favorite color for anything (lingerie or not) has always been red; but I find that different colors look totally different from one woman to another. I enjoy just about any color: red, white, black, pastels or darker and richer colors. Believe me, it all looks good.

I dont really get into lingerie,I like long flowing gowns with nothing under them.

I persnally don't like wild colors and styles. I don't like the feel of lace at all. I like simple an elegant. I spent New Year's Eve with a love once and she wore a simple and georgeous pair of black silk pajamas that looked dynamite on her, especially the contrast with her fair skin.

No red lace for me.

My favorite panties are string bikini panties. I have a couple thongs but they just feel like wedgies

My bras and panties would fall under simple compared to what every one has mentioned so far ... ... I just love the feel of cotton panties and I just love it if they are in pretty colors or have a pretty design on them... satin also seems to be a favorite of mine... as for bras I just love simple ones with a little lace or the ones I have will have a tiny silk ribbon in between my cleavage.... ... my man loves & knows my weakness for panties & bras...he loves how they feel against his skin ..

My SO wanted to know what I wanted for christmas. I said something no one else could get me. Lingerie and cooking utensils. He said, "Don't you have enough lingerie already?" I really dont' have that much, or I don't think I do. Lets say I have to wash my delicates every week/week and a half or I run out...

I totally agree.... how cheeky of him to even say that.... one can never have too much lingerie... at least not to my way of thinking... as for me.... I always try to buy at least one new piece of lingerie every payday... sometimes it is just new panties... other times a new corset.... well you get the picture.... but one can never have enough lingerie....

Okay after reading these posts,I decided to rethink my position of not being into lingerie and go buy something,just to see if I would like it. I ended up with 2 very nice bra and panty sets, (hey it was my first time out,I didnt want to go hardcore on the first buy) Anyway, I seem to have found a new addiction and plan to go out today and see what I can find.

lovetoread, I started the same way. The bra and panty set are the gateway items to a lingerie habit. Luckily, this is one of those habits that can actually improve the quality of your life (especially sex life). At least until the credit card bills come.

I've been wondering where most of you buy your lingerie. Frederick's? Victoria's Secret? Are there great sites/stores for these things that I'm missing? I'm always eager to find a new place to look and fantasize.

I am a fan of the french maid outfit myself, I really enjoy looking at it. Maybe it's the thought that someone wearing it is a "servant" I don't know. Ahhhh well.
