Lit Poets' Family Photo Album

Me too, although I promise we'll stay in a motel. We're hard to take after a while. :D

T's ex (and his youngest son) are moving to that area (well near enough) this summer, so we'll be close enough when we visit him to get together with you and yourn. I said "yourn." I'm practicing, bless my heart.
I don't think you can bless your own heart. I think you have to do something to encourage another to bless it for you. Bless your heart.

That's AC in your profile pic, isn't it? (I know New Jersey when I see it--must be that special grimy look no other place has lol).

Another photo for the lit poet's family photo album. Is that too hairy? It's wet hair. It's kind of monkey-ish, isn't it?

Does he grunt a lot? That's a fairly good sign ..... no silly me all men grunt it's the neandertal species I forgot

Well these aren't my favorite places on earth, but I'm just sticking them here because I can, and because it makes it easier to link the four together.

I'm now sixty-one years old. I have had my driver's license for forty-five years. Since I have been driving, I have owned only four cars. I'm still driving the fourth one. I've never been without a car. I have owned:

A 1966 Volvo P1800E (Simon Templar's car in a sixties TV show from England called The Saint);

74volvo.jpg

A 1974 Volvo 164 E, which I drove more than 265,000 miles;

A 1986 Volvo 760 GLE Turbo, which I was driving when I met my wife in 1995, and which I also drove more than 250,000 miles;

and

A 2001 Volvo V70, which the Amazing A made me get so that I could be an appropriate parent to two tiny daughters, who shouldn't be required to ride in a fifteen-year-old, 250,000-mile antique (which, I believe, still had 100,000 miles left in it, but when AA speaks, I generally accede.
Smart guy.

Don't know why I put these up here, but here they are...my life in cars.
