Apparently this needs to be said. AuntieDisco is truly one of the best people on this site, and not just because she showed us the hidden bits. She shared a ton of herself with all of us pervs. When she said that she didn't like how some people were treating her, the treatment not only didn't stop, it seems to have gotten worse. There have been a whole bunch of amazing women that have left this site entirely because of how they are treated, so unless we want her to join that group leave some compliments or leave her the hell alone.

What's fascinating, and appalling to me, is how prevalent these actions are. I always (naively) assumed a site predicated on the written art first would be more sophisticated. That has nothing to do with salacious or naughty exposure, but I just assumed the indignant assumption of entitlement would be less. Nope! Men here are probably more predatory than in reality because they're emboldened by digital anonymity. It sucks for those of us trying not to be one of those guys, and I know that the few times I "complain" about it I'm ALWAYS intending to do so in jest.

But for fuck's sake guys. Be humble! Be gracious! Be appreciative! And be respectful!

I have always tried to be complimentary in my responses to the many pics posted on Lit - and hopefully I have succeeded most of the time. I've been here long enough now to know which ladies do accept the salacious remarks and which don't and I'll admit I have overstepped the mark on a few occasions and then withdrawn the comments. With AD, I have done my best to be courteous and added a touch of humour too, so much so that she once responded with a remark along the lines of "loving my commentary"

It’s not fair that I be guilted into doing something I’m not ready for and I think that’s what other guys were trying to say.
