On that im hankering to get started on the next topic, i think the voting period might be a little longer, but then again it might be too short once we get more people into it as time goes on.

Also, thank you to the folks who worked on clustering the artwork all in one place.

This forum is so dauntingly active and threads scroll off the pages so quickly that it's hard to remember which main header something neat was originally under. My literotica bookmarks have folders inside folders and was starting to get a tricky to navigate and find things as the main board can be. *g*

My senile mind very much appreciates the addition of a visual arts folder of threads.

I voted. Very nice work, darkglasses. I couldn't decide between that or the first one, but darkglasses got my vote and I can't wait until the next contest. I really wanted to participate in it, but the computer died and now I lost my USB for my camera and everything is falling apart and I'm looking for a second job to help pay my debt on this damn laptop off and...Yeah, but I'll still continue to vote and lend my support. Great job, everyone and thanks Halo_n_horns for such a refreshing new contest and addition to Lit.

I'd like to take this time to thank everyone for who posted compliments and/or feedback to my submission. I would also like to thank all who voted for my submission. I did not participate in hopes of winning, or anything, just for the pleasure of getting the creative side of my brain in gear after such a long time of concentrating on other things (like real life issues *sigh*).

Thank you HnH for this opportunity and, for what I surmise, will be a very exciting future for all!

I got a PM from DarkGlasses saying that he would be on vacation this next week. If he ends up winning this contest, as it looks like he's going to, he has already given his secret ingredient for the next contest to McKenna. He has given his e-mail address to me. The contest will run just as this one did except McKenna will be giving the secret ingredient to all of us, and then you'll contact me for the e-maill address to send your submissions to.

DarkGlasses said he'll be back on March 5th, and that's when he'll get everything compiled and posted for the judging to begin.

Its been a distinct pleasure doing this with the bunch of you. I'm seriously looking forward to the next contest.

That would be the safest assumption. That also gives the person conducting the contest the time to get the stuff posted on a weekend, instead of during the week when things are hectic.

The person conducting the contest should be able to take care of any sizing issues. Something that I forgot to mention in the PM was that there are several people here with programs and know-how to resize the pics. I'm probably going to need to do the same thing for my entry for the current contest.
