The notion that the Site is knowingly looking away and letting "pedo" content (which I have never, ever seen in 22 years of reading stories here) get past the screening so it can draw the traffic of those readers while claiming that it doesn't allow that content to "cover its ass" seems absurdly far-fetched and borderline paranoid conspiracy.

Like most good conspiracies, the folks at the bottom of the iceberg need to be bumbling incompetents while also simultaneously being dastardly geniuses. Illuminati membership takes a special brand.
