Well, if everything in your life was wonderful, wouldn't it be a bit boring?

As long as your life overall is improving (and with a new relationship, it seems it is), then you certainly have reason to hope!

Oh, dragonhearted please don't feel sad....I wish I was there in person to give you a big hug and hold you. Sad times are transitory just remember that. To be honest with you I am not happy all the time...I certainly try to be...but I have some miserable elements in my life, I have some good ones to.
Honey do what you can to distract yourself from bad feelings and thoughts(I would not reccomend Wild Turkey been there done that the head hurts too much afterwards ) Nuture yourself by getting plenty of rest, don't let yourself get too hungry or lonely.
Place yourself in positive surroundings, avoid people who make you feel bad, avoid behaviours that make you feel bad about yourself. These are some of the strategies I use and they are well founded coming from my Therapist, they work when you are able to apply them....I was a little lax and had trouble when I did not do these things.... down into the "pit" I called it, I would go. This will sound crazy but I found dance lessons helped me better than anything else, they distracted me from my thoughts and allowed me to get centered.

No, I have been a little busy. I was writing you a nice letter when AOL booted me off, lost the dang thing rrrrrrrr. I had not gotten around to writting again, my apologies. Never assume, you are a quality person hence worthy, in my view, of friendship.
((((Big Hug)))) Your frankness is precious. I believe as you that one has to be to the point. Honesty is important you save a lot of time and effort if people love you for who you are not as they would like you to be.
