but I do many dog owners now have no idea how to train, keep, or deal with their dogs...

my rottie shepard is pretty well trained now and we got him when was three with no training. He'll come if you call him even if he's not on a leash and theres other dogs around 80% of the time
so I dont see why people have such a hard time with theirs
