Love & Master/slave and the myriad of issues attached

I think it's all about balance.

I've struggled with this from the beginning of my relationship with my little girl. We were strictly M/s in the beginning. Then after our love grew and became stronger we became mostly boyfriend/girlfriend with virtually no M/s. Both put stresses and strains on our relationship.

Right now we are trying to do our best mix in both. Of course it's hard in a LDR. There is only so much Dominating you can do through a phone or computer.

Hopefully when we are together for good it will all fall into place.

I love her too much to ever want to lessen the boyfriend side of me. And I'll be damned if I would ever give up having a perfect slave who I call my own.

I don't get it, but maybe that's because I'm not M/s. You fall in love with a person, not with the Master/slave dynamic in and of itself.

I don't get it either. I also think this is a classic case of cart before the horse.

Maybe I can't relate because I can't do BDSM outside of a relationship. For that matter, I can't have sex with someone I am not emotionally invested to some degree. No, I don't have to be in love, but I can't hit the bed on the first date either.

I think LOVE is a huge part of D/s Ive said this more than once that if I didnt love my Dominant I couldnt go to the places he requests of me, In that love I belive it builds trust, confidance and a relationship. I am truly deeply in love with Sir he has put up with alot from me emotionally cause I was broke from a previous relationship... but he says he stayed cause he saw something in me and now he benefits from that path he choose but I benefit as well.. We all make mistakes but never regret them they are lifes lessons... You learn and move on... love and D/s in my world go hand in hand...
