Slipping inside my Haven, a grin on my face, brought about by the awesomeness of LMFAO. I now owe two more posts. I am thinking today will be a Dahmia day, saving Jakee for later this evening or even tomorrow, after dinner is done.

I slip inside my cyber home and stop to breathe. Things have been crazy hectic today and I do have to be up by 330 in the morning but I needed this time to work on some owed posts and so, here I am.

Soft footsteps lead me to my living room and a wave of one small hand lights a fire in the fireplace. Finally, I retrieve my lap top from the roll top desk that holds my note books and sink down, into the softness of my couch.

I owe two posts. One for Darkness. One for Vixie. I have an idea for both of them, so now it's just a matter of choosing which thread to do first. I am thinking Jakee. A few keystrokes pull that particular thread up for reading.

The silence is soothing.
 
The first post is finished, Jakee my werewolf Alpha, all set to enter the Witch's apartment. Now, I have to think on Mina. My lone wolf. Working out a first time cain shift, from the outside? A difficult task. I also have to tie up the loose ends...those left dangling from the previous two posts.

A thought. A sex witch who is now 'cain. How will that affect her rune witchery? Her abilities with animals? Will her sex witchery work the same? Ideas for Vixie to mull over.
For that matter, how do those abilities place her in reference to Mina? Above, below?

Never mind, never mind. Work out the post first. Talk it over with Vixie later.

A few keystrokes bring up the thread...and I set to reading.
 
Harder than I thought, getting the words in order. Very difficult. And the more I edit, the less it flows the way I need it to.
 
The soft click of heels leads me from the RW to my Haven. A wide yawn. I have been at work since 5 AM after only 3.5 hours of sleep. Pretty friggin' sad. No matter, I can get through the day. It promises to be slow.

Another yawn.
 
Another awesomely wide yawn, jaws cracking with little pops of sound. It had been crazy busy for an hour. Now? It was just...dead. I smirked slightly to myself. Dead? Like that is any reason to complain. Managed to get through four hours. Checking the clock, I am delighted to see that I only have 6 more to go.

I need to write. Something. Anything. Need to go through my siggy, take out anything and everything that no longer has a meaning. Update the things that do. This is all just make work though. I know it.

Another yawn.

No matter. If it keeps me contented? That is all I really require.
 
A soft smile. That's it then, no muss, no fuss, no bother. All gone. All done. Bye bye. A happy smile. I am prepared for something to happen, I just don't know what. I am ready for the other shoe to drop, I just don't know when. And it doesn't really matter any way.

For the nonce, I am at peace, with myself. The only thing that could possibly make this any better? Would be to have my family all together. Gods willing? That will happen tomorrow.

Laughter. Music.

I have to say, I love Nat King Cole, and not just during Christmas. :rose:
