Luna's Haven~closed save for invitees.

She enters with a sigh, her eyes searching the shadows for a friendly face, someone, anyone. Of course, here, as in the RW, there is no one. Like always. Fingers snap candles alight, bare feet pad from foyer to living room.

The couch beckons.

She sinks into it's embrace and leans back.

Maybe she will write the pain away...or maybe not.

Music starts.

Lucretia, My Reflection

A familiar face??? I am always here! I miss u, miss us, miss how it used to be! But you will never be alone...I am going nowhere. That I promise you!

*slips in to leave a White Rose For Luna, a haunted smile as he looks around, with a sigh he turns, melding into the shadows wishing his friend well and peace

Stumbles into my Haven and finds a gift from a long lost alpha male. Smiles. Lights come one and a nail is found to place the pretty picture Veroe found else where. It makes me smile...and so I stole it for here. To place with all of my other gifts.

There. It looks good, right next to the pictures from raven and cherry and dee and Blessing and Poppet and...hell, everyone who has ever left me a gift. Finally, I head for my couch and flop into it's soft confines. I owe for three threads and I need to get my thoughts in order.

Home.

It is not a state of being or even a place. It is the feeling that means you have returned to what you were, once upon a time.

I am home.

I am...content.

Liked, loved, even.

I am not well but I am better.

And I thought mine was the only absence. I step out of the woods. Even in the night they seem quieter than they should be. They seem to be missing a certain life. It feels like the heart of this place has been missing for too long and that it had started to become just another hollow. I circle the cabin peering in seeking signs that the person this place belongs to was here, but those signs are absent.

Instead I see a light film of dust across the furniture, cobwebs where there shouldn't be, and a stillness in the air that does not belong. Still, as I search I feel more than see evidence that she was here. The wolf returned to her secret home not long ago.

I smile glad she is around, if not here. Alright if not good. Normally I prefer a little subtlety in my arts, but sometimes that is not called for. I poke open a window and wipe a little dust off the sill within. When I draw my finger away the dust continues to clear, first along the sill, but then spreading throughout the house. Wood becomes polished except for what is meant to be rough. Windows clear on their own and the cobwebs clear. Soot whirls out the chimney and disappears as even the fireplace is cleaned.

She deserves at least this small act to welcome her back. I fade back into the shadows and wonder when I'll be able to meet the wolf next.

"Soon ..." The word will be caught by the wind and held there until she arrives when it will be just leaving earshot. She will know the voice, not that she needed the clue, she always seems to know when I've been here.

Early morning...or at least earlier morning.

I enter my home, catching the passing scents of well loved, well missed friends, twins, and others.

The scent of dust is gone, replaced by the smell that can only mean that Erlind has been and gone, leaving the cleanliness of hearth and home behind. I hear his voice, that whisper of welcome and the smile widens.

He does know me.

Small booted feet carry me inward, leading me to living room and desk, where my lap top has been left~wordless.

Time to play catch up and introduce myself to all of my well loved, various personalities. Gods, it is good to be home.

Giddy laughter as the first owed piece is posted.

The queen was easy to remember. I had worked hard on her for a beaten, bloody knight...and she felt like a long lost deadly friend.

I sat back for a moment, soaking in the comfort of my home and debated the next owed bit.

Four pieces down. With a fifth plotted for Noon's thread. After all, the first post was only filler for the next bit of action.

But...after that?

I think I will try and drag my T'So out into the light. I have missed her.

The woods feel warm today. A gentle breeze keeps them from being uncomfortable at all, but they are nice and warm. Full, truly alive trees hide the local wildlife that had seemed vacant before. I stroll down the path to where it opens to the familiar clearing. She's home.

I wander up the stairs and ease the door open and lean against the frame.

"Someone is hard at work."

Looks up with a smile.

"He lives!"

Standing up, I move to give him a cuddle before slowly disappearing into the real world.

"I have things to do and a real world man staring over my shoulder....will be back when the world releases me."

"On occasion I live. And the real world does occasionally have things worth being distracted by. I am patient."

I move inside and stretch out on the couch for a light nap. I'm patient, but there is no sense in wasting the time.

Returns to my home with a sigh, carrying my lap top under one arm. I enter my haven and stop, noticing Erlind sleeping peacefully on my couch. With a slight grin I head for my chair nearest the window and sink into it's softness. I owe for a few more posts. I just have to remember where I left my split personalities at.

I open a sleepy eye and spot the famed wolf, hard at work, returning her fiction to life. I can't help, but smile as I close my eye again.

The room brightens a bit as clouds outside parted for the critical moment, and the figure that had been napping on her couch is gone. A moment later I can be found behind her filling the capricious role I sometimes take. I lean on her shoulder a bit.

"Working on anything fun?"

"Working on anything fun?"

I look up with a smile and stop typing.

"I am trying to get Misty back on the same page as Andrey. So, this post was short and sweet."

Standing up, I pull him into a hug and reach up to press a firm kiss on his chin.

"How you doing?"

"Easily distracted, but enjoying life. Things aren't the way I thought they'd be, but they so rarely are, so I'm dedicated to enjoying it anyway."

I return the hug, but can't settle for a kiss on the chin and pull her in to meet her lips with mine. Its a short kiss, but clearly not the last I plan to share.

"How's your world? It seems like the world has been a little rough for you, but its getting better?"

Returns home for the third time today, saddened that I didn't get to spend any real time with Erlind but smiling nevertheless because I know he will come back, sooner or later.

In my right hand, I am holding a gift from a knight. With a happy smile, I tack it beside all the other pictures I have been given over the past year.

"better..."

Some things don't change. We both spend half the day online and we each pick a different half just about.

Squeaks once and turns around, pouncing Erlind with a wide grin.

Luckily for us both I knew i had another post to contemplate before i could work on a piece for YOU.

Climbs him like a tree, stopping when arms and legs are wrapped snugly round his neck and waist.

Give us a kiss?

"How could I deny you?"

We share another kiss, but this time my lips linger on hers much longer. My tongue slips into her mouth to explore as part of the long passionate kiss. I hold onto her wanting to keep Luna at her perch.

"I can see I've been missed."

Gives low growling moan, before suckling a tongue tip into my mouth and nibbling a bottom lip.

Oh yes. You were missed. It has been far far too long since I have had the pleasure of your company.

Hands tighten, thighs do as well. Words are pressed into the sensitive flesh of his ear.

Might as well take a seat. I shan't be here for very long... but I could use a cuddle while I am.

I take a seat as suggested and hold the wonderful wolf tightly. My hands wander across the wonderful wolf flesh and I begin to nibble on her neck.

"I can understand the need to cuddle though its too bad that you won't be here long."
