Married women wearing ankle bracelets?

The latest trend is a black ring on the right hand. Can be worn by both men and women to indicate a willingness to play.

I haven't heard of this one, but if it catches on it makes more sense. A black ring on the right hand is not something that is already worn by millions of women with no clue of a secret meaning. The ankle bracelet as a signal makes about as much sense as shoes.

I agree completely ... the entire point of a signal like that is that it isnt something so common that everyone wears it anyway.

A few years back, there was supposed to be a thing with young women wearing different colored jelly bracelets to indicate what they were willing to do.

Other places, the bracelets were worn as badges of accomplishment.

There were games where guys would try and snap the bracelet off the wrist, obligating the girl to perform at coded action...

Or, girls would gift bracelet(s) to guy before a date to tell him what she wanted.

As far as I could tell, this was mostly urban legend, at least according to my kids and their cousins.

I have read about ankle bracelets being a sign of hot wives, with or without a charm, and while some may use it for that, I can guarantee you that prob 99.% of the women wearing them do it for the look, I wore one for a while. There is always this attempt to create symbols, gay men had the flagging codes back in the 70's, color and location to say what you wanted to do, but it died out, lot easier to ask:).

Things like locks on chains, locking bracelets, leather cuffs, all are fashionable (just saw an e-mail from Tiffany's about these bracelets with a key hole on them, doesn't lock..and these decorative locks). Goth people like the Abby character on NCIS wear heavy collars, spiked crap, locks on chains, and it is just fashion. Haven't heard about the black ring thing, but as a female friend of mine put it, she wouldn't need anything like that, whether she wore her wedding rings or not, she could go pretty much to any bar and get laid, she didn't need something to indicate her status.

Read somewhere else that married women who wear ankle bracelets means that they play around with other guy's. Never heard this before has anyone else?

i have heard that before and also that a woman wearing one was a working girl, never had any proof though.

my wife too wears them because she enjoys them and it also goes along with my foot fetish.

but i always imagine her as a hot slut wife ..

I never heard of this before and I wear them all the time because I like the way they look. I've also never heard about a black ring either... maybe I'm just sheltered or naïve!?

Next thing, someone's going to say that guys wearing earrings means they are gay... Oh wait, they DID say that... back in the 80s!!!

That's like the ear ring thing...left ear guy's straight, right ear, s'he's queer.... the best one. Woman wearing a thumb ring on the same hand as there wedding band...they like to eat pussy too...

Mrs K wears an ankle bracelet in the summer...and hasn't go the way of the 'Hot wife'....

My ex-wife wore metal all over, ankles bracelets, ring on nearly every finger.. when she fucked around...wasn't hot wife...just a drunk..

How's this...Ladies left tittie bigger than the right, means she likes sex more than a blond with A-cups

Generally it isn't just an ankle bracklet...there is also a charm that signals that she is available...if you see the queen of spades she is looking for a chocolate bull

Interesting question. I have been what is now called a "Hotwife" in that we were swingers and my husband shares me, now only with friends. I have never heard this. It maybe something like waist chains supposedly meaning open to same sex experiences. I have worn both (ankle and waist, at different times and I know I was not consciously signaling any thing like what these are supposedly meant for. Maybe a local thing? I've lived in California and Arizona and been many other places for sexual reasons and I am unaware of either of these. Maybe I wasn't paying attention. :D

I wear an ankle bracelet now and then. Why? Because I like to, no other reason, but this does explain why so many men hit on me when I'm out with friends and coworkers after work when I'm wearing one.

Really?

This thread just seems ridiculous to me. If you need a woman (married or otherwise) to broadcast her interests to you in public, then you must not get laid very often. Ring or no ring, if someone catches your attention, there's no reason you can't talk with her. She will have no issue letting you know if she's not interested...trust me ;) You never know until you try. Even if she's got a guy with her...It could be her brother or maybe her favorite gay guy friend. If you're nice and respectful, you'll be just fine no matter the outcome.

Tell this to the men that, no matter what you say, will pester a woman even after she tells him NO!

No means NO! ALWAYS!!

Well yes, that falls under the "nice and respectful" part. But your absolutely right, no means NO!...unless you're using safe words, but we won't go there :)

Well "then" doesn't count :)

I've been asked not to return to several establishments because I've hit, smack, slapped men for not leaving me and/or my party alone when we've made it obvious we didn't want male attention or to talk with a man.

And when it is her husband or boyfriend, and he's really not interested, he'll let you know, for sure.

I have played the bull for couples also and some married women with out husbands knowledge, and none had them, but as I read more it seems to be more of a UK thing and how they wear means a lot to, very interesting, I had no idea lol.

I've also chatted with a UK couple and they say that the anklet really does mean that she might be available.....which she has been on occasion.

If the earring was in the right ear, he was gay. If it was in the left, he was straight. And if he had them in both ears, he was a pirate

Lol I've never heard of this but I'll bear it in mind.

I was in a small mall today. The place caters to independant sellers in a craft show, flea market type setting. Sitting on a bench in the main aisle was a lady trying on ankle bracelets.

What got my attention was that she was 80 if she was a day. Complete with cane/walker type thing. If there was a wedding ring, it was hidden by the wrinkles on her fingers.

I thought of this thread (and the others like it) and laughed to myself.
