Maryland is for lovers?

Hey all! Happy Pride month! :)
I will be leaving MD in August for the mid-west! I'm excited but a little sad. Hope everyone is doing okay!

Hi Marylanders! Thanks so much to everyone for keeping this thread alive. I've been lurking for the last few months, but haven't posted because I haven't really had much worth saying. But it's always nice to hear from you all.

I make it a point not to use this thread to plug my stories—unless they're Maryland-specific. My latest is set at a Renn Faire that was inspired by the Maryland Renaissance Festival, which I know we've talked about here in the past. I'm looking forward to Renn Fest this year, and I suspect other folks are too, after missing it last year. So I thought maybe this story would be of interest.

A Fairy Affair at a Faire

If you're in the mood for a weird little fairy tale full of kinky fairy-sex, check it out. It's six pages and has a lot that will remind you of our own Revel Grove in Crownsville, MD. I'd love to hear what you think.

Happy Independence Day, fellow Marylanders..

Ramore! Back at you and all fellow Marylanders! Yes, this nation has its issues and problems, and we ain't perfect, but . . . . . this is STILL (and always will be) he best damn place on earth to live, work, and raise a family.

Well said Spurtman!

I hope my Lit pals and everyone else is doing well this Summer. Anyone with any Ocean City vacation plans?

I go there on the spur of the moment. Luckily I have a friend who lives there and there's always a place to crash if I can't find a hotel room.

With any luck I'll get to Gunnison Beach this summer.

Too bad no one wants to come ogle my wife. Lol!

I started the trip very early in the morning. The beach was just beginning to get a crowd when we arrived.
If we had known where you folks were we certainly would have looked for you. My wife and I would have loved to have ogled you wife...you too.

Slugger! I made it to Rehoboth last weekend. Where might I get to ogle your wife -- Ocean City?

I haven't been to O.C. for a couple decades. I understand it has changed a great deal. Do people still go nude at the north end of Assateague Island?

Hey y'all! Just moved to the Frederick area from Philly and wanted to check in. I hope you're enjoying the great weather this week. :)

Welcome

Welcome to the area. I don’t live from Frederick. They weather is great for August but I fear it’s about to get hot.

Welcome back to MD! I lived north and west of Philly for about 5 years ... over 20 years ago. Yikes! How old am I?!?

Carroll County here. I hope Frederick treats you right!

So far, so good, although the search for tasty restaurants continues. Tried Big Chef Chinese Kitchen yesterday; very meh. But I have hope. Brewer's Alley was quite good. :)

Welcome to Maryland. It's not a large state but there are many interests to by had.
Frederick is a convenient place to be...half way between the mountains and the ocean. Enjoy! :)

I'm just across in Loudoun County....you'd think I'd know Frederick better but rarely cross over into MD...

There are only 3 or 4 ways to cross that river. With traffic the other side is always an hour or more away.
