I rented a big truck on Saturday to move some stuff so I was riding high and could see down into cars next to me, so what do you think I saw while driving the roads of Virginia? Nada. Nothing. Zilch. Nil. Diddly squat. Not a damn thing interesting. A few big bellies but that was it. So disappointed.

I went golfing yesterday but it was so slow. It must have been a 10-15 minute wait on every hole, way to slow for me so I left after playing 5 holes. Beautful day out though.

That’s tragic, especially after paying your green fee. Didn’t even make the 19th hole ️. Wasn’t there a” Ranger” present?. Hopefully the next time you’re out you can finish 18 before sunset Slainte

Agree -- nothing worse than slow golf! That said, a shitty day on the golf course is better than your best day in the office!

I’ll Respectfully disagree good sir. Even though I may have had a lousy round ( more often then not) I still have had 6-10 good shots/putts. And my partners even more. Nothing is better then “ reviewing” the day with a few “ adult beverage’s “, some wings or a beef on weck. Slow play makes a train wreck of the day, especially if you only get 5 holes in. Just my humble opinion, good sir. May you hit them straight ️ Slainte

I can't say I've ever been to Buffalo, but I worked with several natives for many years who would talk about how much they missed delicacies like beef on kimmelweck and something called "pizza logs"

Yes, Buffalo is still a very “ ethnic type” of city, both traditional & new. So many different foods to choose from: Polish, Italian, German, Black, etc. Always an adventure. One thing I really miss here is the “ traditional Friday Night fish fry”. Very Big in WNY, probably due to the large Catholic presence. Breaded fish, fries, cole slaw, macaroni salad, rye bread with butter & of course.. Beer . Slainte

I only paid for 9 holes. I had been on the course for 1.5 hours and just got to the 4th tee. I looked ahead and I could see it was not going to get any better so I knew after the 5th hole I could head straight back to the club house. Did not make it to the 19th hole but then I have never seen any talent in the clubhouse. Now that it stays light longer I may try around 4:30 next time.

Very true. I was playing in Myrtle one time. Cart drives up and old dude passenger gets out following by a stunning blonde driving the cart. She kind of looked like Paige Spiranac, in a short skirt and argyle knee high socks. Another cart drives up and another stunner gets out wearing a matching outfit. I could not help myself so I went over talked to them and found that they worked for some sort of caddy rental like the Caddy Girls. $75 for a round. I don't think I would mind a slow round if I had a caddy like that.

. Me to with the vinegar on the fries. A Kimmelwick roll is just like a “ Kaiser roll”… only it is covered with Kimmelwick seeds & salt. Then you put a heaping portion of roast beef, some horse radish & have at it
