My wife does know and is accepting of my liking for panties but does not "play along".
In the past, we had shared panties (and, in fact, had a shared panty drawer) but her taste moved more to the utilitarian than I liked, so I started buying my own. One day I just told her that she should expect to see me in panties from then on. She is pretty accepting of things as long as no one gets hurt, so just said okay and that was the end of it.
Before bringing the subject up I would recommend giving some serious thought to what you think her reaction might be and hoe you would deal with it if she was not accepting.
