I agree. Lake Country has been doing a pretty good job and I am sure that they are doing the best they can in times when the weather and sheer magnitude of events make it extremely difficult. I also feel for the folks who have to wait a looong time.
I always say light a fire, get naked and get a bottle of wine when the power goes out.

I can understand why people become snowbirds when they can. I'm definitely a fan of summer over winter.

We didn't any snow from the latest storm but we got about 15" or so in the NW part of the state around Christmas.

This last one was around 8 inches, took less than a hour to clean up.

Honestly I don't mind winter, yes it's a bit chilly but no bugs, my allergies are almost non existent and it's a great excuse to fool around in front of the fire.

Unfortunately Anne decided to stay in town this weekend. But a "Friend" is coming over in about an hour for some fun.

Im not from Minnesota , but I used to Travel there often to conduct audits and boy was I surprised by their accent.. It is absolutely sexy, I loved listenin to the women talk….drool. Sorry , if I’m screwing things up by adding my comment though I’m nit from there.

Never got the chance to play there, but damn did I dream about the beautiful women there.

I belive it had to do with the sudden change in temperature. Everything go trapped and didn't blow away. At least that is my understanding.
