"Oh no, that's... not good at all, can you handle that many people? I know you have a big heart but can you do it?"

Honestly, I do have concerns. I'm struggling with medical debt to the tune of about 7500 dollars. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I doubt I could do any worse than their mother. But I worry about Jullie's future now. How will she be able to save up for college when it will take most all she makes to help take care of her brother and sister?

I'm not sure, that's a really tough place..." he hugs her.

"Don't we all?" I ask softly holding you close gently rubbing your back kissing the top of your head.

Stirring from under the blankets with a big yawn and a stretch to re-awaken my joints.

"Coffee.... need coffee, and why is my clock wrong...... Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh" Moving my watch ahead for Daylight Savings time. "Hugh, I completely forgot about that. Good morning all."

*stubs her toe in her scramble to catch up after failing to push her clocks ahead as well*

Dabnabit... In the excitement and flurry of hubby coming home last night, we completely forgot too...

Hope everyone has a good day! *lingering air kisses for all who might wander by later*

Hello to anyone who may be about.

Returning after a day of domesticity. Everything but the vacuuming done and that may just have to wait.

"You ok sir?"

I'm ok.. thank you sir. I was just exhausted and actually fel asleep at my keyboard shortly after typing that. Woke up a bit later and went straight to bed. It was very much needed.

Snatching a lingering air kiss on my cheek... Hope your day's going well!

Hello to anyone who may be about.

Hiya Theri... sorry to hear about your girl's troubles, but I have faith that between the two of you, you'll give the others a safe welcome place to grow and learn. *Hugging you*

Hiya Theri.. feeling better today? I was thinking about an early cocktail to celebrate my chores being mostly done... care to join me?

Sure thing! How about something a little different for me today. A 'Jamaican Me Happy' wine cooler. I am feeling a little better. Just came back in from teaching the two youngest kids to shoot. Just .22s, but still the basics of safety and it was fun too.

Coming right up! *opening the requested cooler and pouring myself a stiff drink as well I head back to the fireplace.* Glad your feeling better, and riflery is always good when done in a safe environment. When I was a camp counselor it was hands down the number one activity for everyone, staff and campers alike.

Well if these kids are going to live here, they need to know the safe handling of guns. I keep my guns locked up and my ammo too, but there is no substitute for education.

*Sipping the wine cooler, then pressing the cold bottle to my forehead.* It's hard to believe we were just complaining about the cold a couple days ago. But that's Georgia for you.

Very wise. Knowledge is always important.. and it takes a lot of the "sexy" out of it when you a) realize it's no joke and b) it's harder than it looks. Saftey is and always should be the first priority.

I hear you on the weather... it's almost 60 here today and I was shoveling a few days ago... I swear the next misinformed ding dong I hear say "So much for global warming" I may just pop in the chin! ;)

*Chuckles* I personally have a lot of guns. I like shooting, though I'm not interested in hunting really. I don't want to kill anything, I just like the challenge of the sport. I like to try to get better accuracy each time I do it, and I find it's like a form of meditation for me. I feel much more relaxed and stress free afterwards for a period of time.

I enjoy it too, you're right, there's a discipline and rhythm that is very relaxing when you do it well. I used to hunt, but I haven't in a long time. Mostly pheasant, quail and venison. Though I have a neighbor who keeps me stocked in venison, so I don't miss the hunting too much, but I do miss shooting for sport. I used to be pretty good, but it's been so long, I'm sure I'm no where near as accurate as I used to be.

I'm afraid my accuracy may be suffering too. Diabetes is making my eyesight bad. I now have to have two pairs of glasses: one short range like for reading and com0puter work, one longer range for everything else. So I need some kind of optic sight for just about everything except pistols. I like mostly cowboy guns, six shooters, lever action rifles, double barrel shotguns, etc. So I can shoot my six guns from ranges of 15-25 yards pretty accurately with iron sights.

Here is a target from last fall that I scanned. This was with my six gun shooting 9mm in the spare cylinder. I have one of those Ruger Blackhawk revolvers that comes with two cylinders: one 9mm and one .357/.38. It's my favorite gun.

Shhhhh... you're secret is safe with us. ;)

*sigh*

I'm currently reviewing science homework for a 4th grader and I don't know all the answers (and I have the flipping text book in front of me!).

Grrrrrrrr!

Peeks in and then grabs a seat, smiling.

Having problems with your homework, Angel? Winks and plops down.

I hate having to pick the 'best' of bad answers.... Unless it's an opinion, answers should either be right or wrong or have a none of the above answer...

I have two flipping master degrees... This is ridiculous!
