Swears he smelled chocolate. He peeks around through the fridge and the kitchen, but finds nothing before he slips back to his seat and stretches out, ready for his Sunday afternoon nap.

Mmm, nice, that sounds quite delicious. Take a good day to relax then, and recover. Always nice when a good night leaves you struggling to walk properly the next day. Chuckles.
 
Smiles and winks. I'm not sure I can agree with that first statement. There are plenty of ways it can end in unsatisfying fashion. But it sounds like your night didn't end in any way close to that.

It has been a good day for me. Lazy, though. I'm just making sure I've got my schedule set up for the coming week now.

Popping in to check on the corned beef I started hours earlier. I spot Noon and Maddy chatting quietly.

Giving Maddy a warm hug and a kiss on the cheek, "So it looks like the date preparation paid off?! Good for you, I agree with Noon, if you need a recovery day, it's a good date by any measure." ;)

"Hey Noon, how's it going? Glad to see you're having a lazy day, not so much here, but at least it's satisfying to see things getting done."
 
Hi HF *big hug and kiss* I don't want you and Noon to get the wrong idea. He's someone I've been seeing for a few months. -not exclusively but certainly intimately.
 
He spies the elf and smiles, rising up to slip over and give her a hug and a kiss on the cheek, squeezing her before letting her go. Hello, beautiful, good to see you again. Hopefully everything that went poorly last night has sorted itself out.

And psh, I'm hardly organized. I'm not planning out a detailed schedule, just making sure my to-do list is in order. I'm really poor at planning ahead.
 
Replacing the lid on the simmering pot as the wonderful smell of a traditional St/ Patty's day meal filled the room.

"Hey Theri! How's your day going?

So.. I have a question for the room, should I boil or roast the cabbage, carrots and potatoes?"

Oh, I assumed that this was the same person you've mentioned as a "hot date" from time to time. But then again, I'll generally fill my head with plenty of wicked ideas regardless. Winks playfully at her. Hopefully they're not the WRONG ideas, though.

No worries there Maddy. I know you've been seeing this gentleman for a while. I think we're all happy when a fellow friend gets lucky, it's sorta the nature of the folks who gather here. ;)

*Returns the hug and kiss warmly, patting your back affectionately.* It's not all sorted, but the new day has brought some better feelings about my options. Maybe it's just a new perspective and I'm not as tired. We had a family meeting today and talked about things, and I'm hoping it helped. Still no solution decided upon yet, but we'll see how things go.

*Waves at HF.* It's going much better than last night. I just got through with a little shooting that always helps relieve some stress. Last weekend was all about showing the kids how to shoot. This weekend it was my turn. I sighted in one of my pistols to pinpoint accuracy, and that's always satisfying.
