Hey lupine
Evening, Glad
Amen and thankee! Hope all has been well with you
It has, for the most part. Little sore tonight, but I'll live.

My brother in law ran a half marithon recently
Heh, nice.
I've been talked into training with a friend of mine for a Tough Mudder event in AZ next March. Of course his comment was that I needed to start running 7 miles.
I said "in a week? Sure no problem..."
But nooooooooo, he says it's "a day".... or at least once a week.
He followed it up with that the TM isn't about speed per se, but more about endurance... so I needed to be able to keep my feet moving.
I pointed out that walking WAS keeping one's feet moving....
Lol yes, TM's are all about endurance...I'd say he's accurate at the 7 miles a day, and I might even up that to twice a week, along with some strength training.
*grins* You're correct, but more than a walking pace for one of those things should be a goal
Yeah, yeah, yeah... sadly girls built like me do not do long distance running easily. I'll get there eventually, but I haven't been running recently so I need to pace myself.
And no strength training until I get my shoulder looked at. Not sure what I did, but I don't have full range of motion in my right shoulder atm. Getting old sucks!
Well, you've got this Angel!
Oh no doubt about it... besides I'm just a wee bit competitive, so I can't have him and the rest of his team thinking I'm going to wuss out. Of course, there's no way I can physically get over some of the obstacles without them giving me a boost. I have zero vertical lift ability... in fact, I might even have negative.
Yeah a doctors visit might be in order
Lol that's ok, thankfully TM's are teamwork events
*sigh* I know... I just hate going. But I'm a side sleeper, and when I keep waking up after rolling on it... I know I can't ignore it any longer.
I know... they tried to sell me on it by pointing out that they'd have an excuse to grope, er "help" me.
Yikes...yea, I agree with Glad, when it wakes ya up just by pressing on it...time to get it looked at.
And I'd be ok with stepping on a few fingers if someone decided to "help" you
