Mischief Makers - Reborn

Oye, I'm gonna be feeling that run tomorrow...at least I'll sleep well tonight!:cattail:

Heh, I made chicken alfredo last night, although instead of pasta I used green squash "noodles" and instead of a cream sauce I used a sriracha-based one... but at least there was chicken in it!

Still didn't stop my yearning for breadsticks, but it was filling and there's enough leftovers for tonight.

Overdid it?

Probably...from my conversation with Angel a couple days ago and the TM, I tried pushing to 7 miles, especially since I splurged like hell on alcohol and food the past two days:rolleyes: My legs might've been shaking a little when I stopped running :D

Silly wolf... hopefully you're working on your hydration level today....

Heh, okay... maybe a handful of nuts with some more water in a couple of hours... ;)

That's the plan. And since you mentioned it, I looked...actually have almonds in the snack drawer :D

*pats the top of his head* good boy! :p

So other than running, drinking and eating, how have you been?

*Nuzzles your hand*:D

Not bad...I've been doing a whole bunch of baking and cooking the past week.

Slow cooker curry, did up some garlic shrimp, scallops and steak for my mom's birthday, and last Thursday/Friday baked about 5 loaves of lemon-poppy seed pound cake.

*taps his nose* Behave!

Nice... have never tried making curry myself although I should. Now you're making me hungry!

*backs off a step and sneezes*

The curry was delicious, especially with a mint-yogurt sauce over top with fresh mint from my garden. It'll be great to have some out of the freezer this winter.

*giggling* Perhaps I should get your recipe.

My son and I went for a 2 mile walk earlier this morning. I swear I have to drag that kid away from electronics or he'd get no exercise. What is it with kids today??!!?

*grins* I could message it to you if you like.

Lol it's part of how they learn these days...it's everywhere, in the classroom and for entertainment. I'm guilty of it too to some extent (X-Box and Lit are wonderful things :D) but nothing compares to a sun-drenched walk outside.

Yes, please...

And I know, but I still cant believe the fuss he makes. You'd think he was a vampire with as much as he wants to avoid sunlight.

Well until that happens, he'll be frog marched down the street... even when he's taller than me which will likely happen in the next 6 months or so.

Good...he'll thank ya for it later, even if he doesn't tell you :D

Ha, I doubt it... but I've been telling the kids since they were little that no matter how tall they get, Mom's still in charge. My daughter now has me by about 5 inches... little twerp!

Mom's still in charge... mom's still in charge.... mom's still in charge...

And you're the best friend she'll have, period, so yes, in a way, mom will always be in charge because she'll realize that, too :)

Heh, we'll see about that. My daughter has always been a Daddy's girl until very recently. Mom's only in favor at the moment because she's unhappy with him. I keep telling her that they're like peas in a pod, so of course she's going to get irritated with him, but what does Mom know....

very little ;) or that's here thinking on that.

Ok, who's next on the writing docket, angel? grins
