Mischief Makers - Reborn

Silly goose... nothing wrong with quiet periods. Things get so crazy around here that quiet is awesome (except when it’s an indicator that one of my kids is up to no good). ;)
Same shit new day for me. 2 weeks til work, though. I'm excited but hella nervous.

~pops in to say hello~

I hope everyone is doing well!

*sneaks in herself*

Hiyas back - life has been a challenge but I’ll survive (and now I have to get that song out of my head ).

Hope ya’ll are well too. :rose:

Lots of challenge here too ugh. Hope y'all are better than my day was.
Though my weekend was pretty good.

Oh that’s right... You started the new job recently. Have to head to bed as I must get up super early tomorrow but will do my best to log back in tomorrow night so you can tell me all about it.

In the meantime... sweet dreams and sticky fingers for whenever you seek your pillows... :D

Back with only minor ringing in my ears from tonight’s band concert... of course I’m going to be humming Louie Louie for the rest of the night....

How's that one go again?

By the way...we need to find a better communication method than Kik. I'm really bad at checking messages...:(

Hope y’all’s day / weekend goes well. I’m off for next three days although it looks like weather is going to suck for most of it.

To quote from one of my son’s favorite movies....

Oooooh I’m shaking in my custom baby seal leather boots... :p

Disclaimer: no baby seals were actually threatened in the utterance of this snappy comeback

*smirks*

Hmm...wearing just the boots then, eh? That's a good look for you.

*grins*

Survived another concert... I think the chorus director was channeling his inner Glee Club.

I was in band all the way through school :)

I’ve always been a singer, but son is playing the baritone (said it would be easier than a tuba to do in marching band in high school — he’s my planner). Daughter did four years of violin before switching to choir (cuz you don’t have to fill out practice sheets if you sing —).

They’re down to less than 2 weeks before the end of school. They’re getting just a wee bit anxious. I keep telling them to enjoy school while they can cuz once you start working... it’s a life sentence.

But the best part of school was always vacation haha.

I played trumpet, that was even lighter haha.

That and the matching tassies....

Ooo...tassels... that's fun. ;) :D

Baritone...sax?

I've debated trying to learn violin. I know I'm a bit old to pick it up, but it looks fun and they sell em for 30 bucks on Wish...

While that might be true, I still maintain that school is a heckalot easier than working... you get to rotate classes/classmates at least once a year and if you don’t like a teacher, you typically just have to deal with them for a year (unlike bosses / coworkers from hell that might stick around forever!).... and you got the summer off. :D

Baritone = euphonium = baby tuba

Never too old to learn something new... you should go for it

They are similar in range and tone to a trombone though in a different key and with valves like a trumpet or tuba.

*skips inside still riding the wave of excitement from her beloved Caps winning the Stanley Cup*

Happy Saturday, all.... hope everything is fantabulous!
