Moochie’s Mementos (and a pic or two)

But when her smile came back
And I didn't feel half as horrible
She gave me a heart attack
Just because she looked so adorable
We both put our sunblock on
Played on the beach and vowed
That we'd live and we'd learn
Yeah, but she got a tan and
I got a sunburn
I got a sunburn

OUCH!

Beautiful. XO

Thanks, Fazer. 🌷

On vacation, or found some countryside to spend some free time.

A little vacation out on the farm. A much needed reset. 🌷

I LOVE THIS !!!!!
Outside and enjoying a bit of nature and some of the other pretty things around YOU !!!
And that young lady, is one HELLUVA Smile !!!!

It’s been a bit too warm for my taste, but otherwise I’ve been experiencing a great few days off (only a few more until it’s back to reality).

Haha - you don’t need to take notes on what I like - but country moochie is 🔥. The jeans!

I don’t wear jeans often. These are my workin’ ones.

This is what happens when a creature of the night goes out into the daytime for a weekend… that and I forgot to reapply the sunscreen. 🤦‍♀️

(It’s actually not as bad as it looks)

LOL I guess I fall under heading of a creature of the night it has been since 97 last time I have been out in the sun. Never go outside unless going to hospital from nursing home even when mask and all covered up. Glad its not to bad.

Nice to spend time relaxing in the sun, but not to burn.

Sunburn OUCH! Hopefully someone was kind enough to drag a common tea bag soaked in warm water across it. That never fails to take the burn out of mine and help it turn to tan.

edit; Forgot to mention- love the fully clothed Moochie on a fence rail! You don't have to be risque to be gorgeous.

Meh
It will be a tan tomorrow and please let me rub the aloe gel on it for you.

Wearing a scoop-neck tank dress out in the sun all day… oops! 😅

Haha! You’re just an indoor enthusiast, Fred! If we were closer I would get you out for a stroll or something. It would have to be early morning or late night to accommodate my crazy sleep, though! 😜

Yeah, I’m a bit upset with myself for letting it happen. Such is life, though. Guess I got my vitamin D for the year! 😉

Sorry, couldn't resist

I love the animaniacs! I have the countries song almost completely memorized. 😁

I’ve never heard of this remedy, and sadly I’m not near anyone who would help me with it as of yet… hoping the tan turns soon. Perhaps tomorrow it will sting less when I wear a bra. 😆

And thank you, grumpy. That’s very nice of you.

I fear your hands may not reach this far, Jox! I wouldn’t mind someone putting some cooling aloe on this, though. Been such a long time since I have had a burn, I forgot how they sting!

  • 1 ½ cups (195 grams) all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup (150 grams) granulated sugar, plus 1 tablespoon for muffin tops
  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) neutral-flavored oil; canola, vegetable and grape seed are great
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup (80 ml – 120 ml) milk; dairy and non-dairy both work
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 to 8 ounces fresh or frozen blueberries; see note below about frozen berries (about 1 cup)
PREPARE OVEN AND MUFFIN CUPS
  • Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. For big-topped muffins, line 8 standard-size muffin cups with paper liners. For standard-size muffins line 10 muffin cups. Fill the remaining cups with 1 to 2 tablespoons of water to help the muffins bake evenly.
MAKE BATTER
  • Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl.
  • Add oil to a measuring jug that holds at least 1 cup.
  • Add the egg then fill the jug to the 1-cup line with milk (1/3 to 1/2 cup milk).
  • Add vanilla and whisk to combine.
  • Add milk mixture to the bowl with dry ingredients then use a fork to combine. Do not over mix. (The muffin batter will be quite thick — see note below for more details).
  • Fold in the blueberries.
BAKE MUFFINS
  • Divide the batter between muffin cups. (If making big-topped muffins, the batter will come to the tops of the paper liners). Sprinkle a little sugar on top of each muffin.
  • Bake muffins 15 to 20 minutes or until tops are no longer wet and a toothpick inserted into the middle of a muffin comes out with crumbs, not wet batter. Transfer to a cooling rack.
  • To store, place them in a plastic bag, seal, and store at room temperature for 2 to 3 days. To freeze, wrap them tightly in aluminum foil or place them in freezer bags. Freeze for up to 3 months.

Lovely looking berries and that recipe looks good as well. I might have to try to make them at some point.

Another of your talents, baker. i do like blueberries, but much more of a fan of chocolate muffins with a chocolate fondant centre.

Sweet Lady, well I guess you have the training as a nurse after seeing you dressed in your greens sure you have the training for infection control. To take me outside. I still would need to be masked and covered up. Also you would have to push me around with two pumps and O2. Time of day or night is not a problem as I am up at crazy time too.

Can I put my Blueberries in your tee shirt pocket ???
Please

Easy recipes that can be changed for food allergies and preferences are difficult to come by, and this one for blueberry muffins has never failed me. Been relaxing and a good reminder being here. 🌷

Hehe! Chocolate will always win out! 🍫💝

We could roll quite nicely together, Fred. No worries about equipment here - I’ve dealt with much more than a couple pumps and an O2 tank. 💜

*leaving hugs for Moochie*

Thanks for the hugs, Azul. 🌷

Every time I read your thread, Moochie.
😏😂😘

Getting it nice and wet?

Hey Moochie. Happy Sunday

Happy Monday now, Sage!

it is the TPN PUMP that is the pain. At about 35 lbs when full. And me not able to walk or stand with foot messed up. So it will be a lovely dream. Since its a dream just once a hug and touch of a bare hand on my face. THANK YOU
We melted into each other
Like butter spread onto warm bread
You bring great memories with your words and sexy picture WOW!
