Thanks for sharing your experience here. I was surprised how quickly Dom brought in milk when I started taking it. Between that, pumping, and a partner, things flowed so well for a while.I love this thread on lactation, As a transgender basically I went on female hormones in 1999 and within 6 months started to lactate. This made the breast feel much fuller and as for the nipples they were so sensative to touch - like little electric shocks. I did some breast pumping twice a day for 3 years until the domes cracked.
I found I could express a large spoon full each day from each breast. I had to stop the hormones 4 years ago due to health and the fact I did not transitioned but I can still lactate a little.
I decided last week to see if I could increase my milk supply again by taking Domperidone and Blessed Thistle and no pumping, this week one side has increased and the other squirts - see video, Woopeee.
Yes, Dom has that effect but I'm not fond of taking it long term as well as the cost, so after two or three weeks I'll decrease the Dom tablets and supplement with herbs: Fenugreek and Goat's rue and see how it goes.Thanks for sharing your experience here.
