Seeing Laurel's post, I see my concern at lack of communication was invalid. The author did get told what was happening, they just didn't look at it.

So, all's right with the world.

If there was was a mistake made here, it was on the part of the author. She didn't check her email associated with her account at Lit.

As Laurel pointed out, the matter was taken care of privately, and expdetiously. There is really no need for any further discussion on the subject.

Sorry, I don't have the high dollar fancy education. I'm just an old (emphasis on the old) country boy doing the best he can. It's been forty years since I was in any kind of school that taught English as a class.

That's one good thing about this place. It's allowed me to brush up on a lot of things I had forgotten and relearn a lot of it. It's a hard row to hoe as the saying goes. I write for the fun of it and as long as readers like my stories, I'll continue to do the best I can.

This seems to be an awfully reasonable question. Are you sure you're in the right thread? They stopped selling beer on this one at the end of the third quarter.

I assumed that the author's account was simply the "Literotica Control Panel" that you access from the "Login" page. Where you find out how many folks have viewed your story and voted on it, and access their comments. But I confess that I didn't know that messages (other than story rejection) are communicated there. Perhaps I simply haven't received any such messages. I'll try harder. May I steal one of your stories to see what happens?

I assumed that the author's account was simply the "Literotica Control Panel" that you access from the "Login" page. Where you find out how many folks have viewed your story and voted on it, and access their comments. But I confess that I didn't know that messages (other than story rejection) are communicated there. Perhaps I simply haven't received any such messages. I'll try harder. May I steal one of your stories to see what happens?
