The only problem is that i have no experience sexually (something about a lack of straight available guys on campus plus the fact that I'm shy about approaching guys in a non platonic manner...) and therefore I don't know if i do enjoy what i think i would like. IMO, it helps to begin as friends before exploring intimacy. If you don't have one, you probably won't have a healthy situation for the other.

Most on here call me S&D, I'm fairly new to the boards. I'm 29. I live in Canada. Married for 10 years to a wonderful man. I have always had a desire to be a sub. I have explored that somewhat online. It's very restricting. My husband does not understand the lifestyle, but (yes there's a but!) he's slowly very very slowly starting to open to the idea. Right...back to me. I am a stay at home mom of 3 rowdy boys ages 3, 4 and 6. Other then boring you with stories of runny noses and potty training, there's not a whole lot more to what I do.

Hi, I'm Punkreader. I'm a self-identified Switch, but I lean towards sub. I recently discovered my interest in BDSM - about a few months ago - and I'm not quite comfortable with it and myself, yet. I'm also a masochist, somewhat to my dismay, as I have a rather ridiculous conditions that cause severe chronic pain and bone degeneration - and just general discomfort, like early-onset arthritis and, unfortunately, Sensory Integration Disorder. I've an interest in bondage, but due to a genetic disease I have called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (which causes spontaneous dislocations of all my joints among other things) and another called Ortheostatic Hypotension (or Postural Ortheostatic Tachycardia Syndrome), I think that it's not really a good idea. I also have cerebral palsy, which makes things like standing still...difficult. In short, I'd need someone very patient and understanding for the times when I can't do exactly what they want, or when I become frustrated with my own limitations.
I fantasize often about being someone's sub, but I'm also possessng of a desire to be independent, and to be treated still as a person, albiet a person dedicated to another's pleasure. I'd want my body's limits to be respected, and to not be punished for the things that it prevents me from doing - punishment for other things, however... I'd also want to be able to have a life outside of the bedroom or home, to be able to have my own job, interact with family and friends, and have a choice to behave as myself in those environments. I'm starting to wonder, after reading, if that's realistic to even look for, when I can...
I discovered this forum browsing LE and clicked on it out of interest. I'm very new in my learning, and I'll ask lots of questions - some personal, some more general. Advice is welcome - I don't have the time to purchase the common resources right now, but I plan to at some point. Guidance, as well, is greatly appreciated.
