I've been a member for a little while now, but I've been reading the material on this site for a long while. I thought I would properly introduce myself.
First off, I love this website. Most people on here are so nice and open, it's actually making me a better person. I've experimented with a lot of new kinks I've discovered on the site and have greatly enjoyed most of them.

Well, I'm pleased to announce that I am officially a brand new sub, as of yesterday!

I don't know what to do about my boyfriend, because I love him very much, and have loved him for a very long time. My relationship is clearly failing, but I don't know how to let go... It hurts, it really does.
I think I already love my Dom, because he has promised to not force me to sever ties, but he trusts I will make the right decision in my own way and at my own pace. He has promised he will never do anything to hurt me or ask anything that would be too much of me. All he asks is complete trust and absolute submission, and I feel in my heart that I can do that.

Sounds like you are in the deep end (at least online wise) very quickly. Honestly, it sounds like this online guy is manipulating you at a very rapid pace.
I know how exciting it can to try BDSM online and to find someone that seems to fit with you and your needs so well, but you need to be prudent even when you want to run, you need to walk slowly in baby steps.
Please be careful. Use online and BDSM safety protocols. Consider very conscientiously why you got together with your BF and why you might break up for someone online.
I'll add this. If you are kinky and your BF is not. If you have tried to discuss this clearly with him and not be able to reach any sort of good or comfortable place on it, replacing him (especially with an online BDSM Dom who could disappear as quickly as a wisp of smoke) before you actually break up with him, may not be the best way to go.
My personal opinion is that if you are kinky, and need BDSM which your BF knows about and can't provide you need to suck it up and break up with him. Then you need to find your local scene, real skin to skin scene of people who you can trust to be real about things with you.
In any case, good luck with whatever you decide to do.

A munch is a meeting in public in normal clothes, usually at a coffee place or restaurant of kinky people. That way they can get comfortable with you and you with them. In my local kink scene you have to go to a munch and meet people before you get invited to a demo or play party.
