Hi, I'm Cay, and have been lurking for a couple of years. I have enjoyed a lot of the stories, and have tried out the chat (although it is hard to get and stay on). I have a partner, we have been exploring a more D/s relationship, but it is all still a bit new.

Unless you enjoy a Wild West sort of atmosphere, I'd stay clear of the GB. My best advice to you? Lurk, read, see what catches your fancy. Take the time to observe the dynamics of interaction, the do's and taboo's, the regular participants, and the particular "culture" of each board. If there are stickies at the top of a particular board, READ them. They tend to be there for a good reason.

Last...and perhaps most importantly - if you're male, don't assume that just because a woman participates on an erotic website that she's interested in providing wank fodder for you. I don't know you from Adam, but it's a common enough MO as to be HUGE source of annoyance for many female Litsters. If you decide to send asshat PM's to those with female sounding usernames, be aware that you may find yourself featured on any number of the asshat threads around the boards.

I only play male roles, which are normally of the dominant nature. I only like to play in settings I have some knowledge of, so vampires, elves, furries etc are out. My favourite settings will be present or near-future timelines, using realistic characters, but sharp storylines with a twist. I like to build roleplays, develop the characters and the storyline. I always write at least one paragraph per post, sometimes a lot more, depending on where in the plot. Sex will be an important part of the plot, but not always central.
