I'm not sure if I'm starting a new post in the introduction area, of if I'm replying to someone else's intro. (I apologize if I've done this incorrectly ... obviously I'm new!)

Anyway, I have been reading the stories on Literotica for some time, but have only recently become a member. I just submitted my first story as well yay!

I'm in the process of scouring the forums and chat areas to see if I can get answers and insights into the many, many questions I still have about the site's settings, story submissions, and how to even do an effective search.

As for me, I'm a 26 yr old, with a degree in creative writing and media journalism. I got my passion for writing from my mother, who was a voracious reader and amateur writer herself. And while I've written articles that are work-related, this is my first foray into erotic writing. I hope whatever I get posted is received well ... and I also hope to become a better writer from criticism and advice thrown my way.

Finally, it would be nice to become part of the Literotica community, so thank you everyone for letting me introduce myself.

Good Afternoon Literoticians (not sure what the collective noun is for you all!)

I am an middle aged guy in the UK. I am bi, sometimes cross-dress, am in the kinda ironic position of being bang average as a guy and hot with great legs as a girl. I am dominant (not D/s or BDSM dominant, just like to be in charge!) with a woman, and submissive with a guy.

I have written roleplays on another site which is very well known online and begins with R, but the roleplaying subs on there are a waste of time as I hardly ever get any replies. The biggest erotic one is useless as any F4M posts are flooded with low-effort one line replies, or worse, get sent porn, or worse still asking for pics/meets, or worst of all sent dick pics.

What makes it worse is that I am not a terrible writer or anything, I compose proper replies, talk about the roleplay, link to my roleplaying profile and chararcter bios, and usually write something towards the roleplay, yet still don't get a damned reply!

So I am looking for a new outlet for when I want to co-write erotica. I am experienced writing both fxm and mxm erotica, usually the mxm is with me dressed so if you like that give me a shout!

I am not sure how things work around here in terms of roleplaying, is it 1-vs-1 or more an open thing with people starting threads and anyone can join in? Also why do some say "closed to $username"?

I have a kink-list which I made via the site beginning with R which I can link to if needed.

I have also written quite a bit on my own and have done Nanowrimo more than once. I have written a variety of things for that but my problem is that while I can create good characters and am good at dialogue I absolutely suck at plotting, so they end up a bit of a plotless mess lol.

Anyhow, any advice and guidance appreciated, I hope not to screw up but am an idiot so probably will lol. I have a good sense of humour, if a little dark and sick at time, so will try to rein that in in case it is not wanted here.

As for smut, I like a variety of things and am as into writing the build-up as the actual act itself.

I like realism. I mean, not necessarily realistic stories, but realist style. Wild-ass fantasies are all right, as long as the writing is compelling and believable.
