Hi everyone. I am a married 34 year old male with 2 small children. I have been reading lit stories off and on for a few months, but only recently started posting - I think this post #3 - lol. I hope to be able to meet a few women that can carry on an intelligent conversation about life or whatever. I am tired of getting emailed or pm'ed from women who send me naked pictures of themselves, announce their breast size, and ask if I want to talk nasty. Can't we just talk about the weather any more? I've also been reading Lit for years, and only recently starting posting on the BB - it's absolutely wonderful for introverts like me. I'm actually becoming more outgoing in real life because of the confidence gained here. Have fun, and PM if you want.

Ok, so I finally got off the ball and joined (I'm not really a joiner). I have found almost everything I could conceive of in the pages of Literotica. I have not tried any submissions as yet, but am told that I am a pretty good writer and should try.

I'm close to fifty (I don't want to think about which side of 50), male, single and basically shy, divorced for 4 years, unmarried for 7 years (for the kid's sake), and unfulfilled sexually since my second child was born. Sex was still a reguirement for her after the first because we wanted two kids. I hear there are medical explanations for the lack of desire these days, but we were too far gone by that time to look for solutions.

Since my second was born, I found VHS and then the computer. I have been reading erotica since I found the bag of pulp smut novels in an alley when I was fourteen. Then I found Literotica a couple of years ago and have been hooked ever since.

Now I find most of my excitement, vicarously, through the writings and experiences of others. I am always hoping to find a free spirit or another borderline introvert that has many pent-up yearnings wanting bust loose.

If you should look, you'll see I've been a member for quite some time ... but, I only plucked up the courage to hit the fora last week, so I'm still a newbie / virgin. So far the few I've encountered have been polite and helpful ... the best suggestion being "get out there and test the waters" so here I am ...

I'm a mature guy, in a long term marriage, and my wife and I have only recently been able to fully explore our "darker" sides - now the kids are teenagers (out late, and sleeping till lunch!). I've been a lurker around here for almost three years and finally decided to join. Which, my sister-in-law would say, makes me a pussy.

I'm 35, married a decade, live in the the Texas Hill Country and am still going through that phase where you want to know what you want to do with yourself careerwise when you grow up. I've been considering working towards my PhD, but that's all, just pondering.

In addition, I am working on being more physically fit. Honestly, our sex life hasn't been what I had hoped for (going on several years) and I felt that I would feel sexier if I got back into really treating/pampering/caring for myself. I'd had one or two romantic entanglements prior to meeting my husband that were terribly satisfying, many more that were less so, and crave to create moments of that caliber for us.

I'm extremely self-conscious and critical of my work, but a terrific editor if someone has a need for it - much to the detriment of my own writing. As I click post, I will wonder if I missed any mistakes. Perfectionism should be a crime. I'd have been in prison since....hmmmm.

The hobbies that I enjoy seem endless, but the time I have to enjoy them is not. I'm a classical pianist that secretly yearns to learn jazz , choir member, dancer (of all styles), reader, faux chef and diyer. I love bay fishing. Too many other interests to list...
