I am having trouble uploading my pic. I've made sure it's within the size guidelines, but it will not load. As soon as I figure it out I'll put a pic up....of course it's only of my eyes because I don't have a digital camera and am too nervous that someone may recognize me.

If you are trying to put a photo for your avatar, that may be the problem. You don't get an avatar until you've had 100 posts. However, you CAN put a photo in your profile.

I'd strongly suggest checking out our How To FAQ sticky, as it details all of the basics on post counts, avatars, using the boards, common abbreviations here, searching for stories effectively, etc. (essentially everything newer and infrequent members usually ask about). Sometimes I even refer back to it when I need a refresher. The FAQ is easily overlooked with the The Blank Manual (another superb resource and fun read), this thread, disaster info, and welcome stickies, so I just wanted to point you in the right direction so you can get answers as quickly and easily as possible.
