I took mine out when I got pregnant. Recovery was a bitch after getting them. But I’d prefer to have my holes close up before baby comes. So far they’re closed. Alas, maybe one day again.

Recovery took me forever. I couldn’t stand to be groped or have my nipples licked for maybe two or three months after the piercing, and they were still tender even six months later.

I went the whole hog: both nipples pierced, belly pierced, clit pierced, and a chain running through all of them, then looping around my neck so my boyfriends could play with them in class at school.

So much fun! But, yeah, the healing time caught me by surprise.

Im not sure, I am pregnant right now with our first, so I can’t speak first hand. But I’ve had friends who had them and were never impacted. I don’t see how they would impact production itself as the milk is produced in the breast tissue, not the nipple. I just wasn’t comfortable breastfeeding with nipple piercings, and wanted time for the holes to heal. They healed really quickly. I’ve heard it can impact how you lactate itself, ie, you have multiple channels for it to come out or if you’ve had scar tissue related to your nipple piercings.

That's too bad, most of the time they just tape my piercings. I have a septum ring as well, and had very large ear gauges. For procedures I've had such as surgeries I just have Bioflex (plastic) rings or bars that you can use for these procedures.

Well here’s the interesting thing. I ended up having to get the piercings out - dress code blah blah blah - but the increased sensitivity remained. Like, before the piercings I’d still get crazy horny from nipple stimulation but never to the point of orgasm.

That changed with the piercings - and stayed even after they were gone. Everyone’s lifestyle and sexuality is different, of course, but back then I was kinda wild. Being able to climax just from some well-directed mouth work without having to drop panties is like a superpower when you’re in a crop-top or sundress.

So I had a little brat gang at school and four of us went across the border and had piercings done in Nuevo Laredo. Nobody over there gives a darn. We got matching clit rings with itsy-bitsy flowers.

I’m going to be a parent so I can now fully understand the moral concern. But back then, I really just wanted to express myself. I had tailored the school bathing suit to be tight and high-cut, and I liked to see the tiny bulge of my clit flower.
