Since LIT is likely moving to a tag-based system, categories as we know them will vanish, not expand.

Did I miss an announcement?

If I were to create the perfect Lit system, it would probably be a hybrid tag/category one.

Ideally, I'd have stories categorized by the author:
* Selecting one or more of the specified categories (which would largely be the current Lit categories that still made sense in this context)
* Selecting one or more out of "M/F", "M/M" and "F/F" to indicate the sexual relationships present in the story
* Indicating how sex-focused the story is by giving it a number from 0 (no sex) to 5 (porn without plot)
* Adding X number of free-form tags to the work

This kind of system seems robust enough to handle both broad and niche-focused stories: It would still allow for hubs like we have now (e.g., letting people browse everything posted under Romance or BDSM that day), while also allowing for readers to find more niche works (e.g., a bisexual incest story in a SF setting could be found by selecting both m/f and m/m and categories Incest and SF).

At the current rate of change, the tag system will be up shortly before the heat death of the universe. I am optimistic. I even wrote a song on the subject, to be played on a detuned 12-string guitar. Symbolic, hey?

I post my cuckold stories in Loving Wives, but a lot of folks consider that inappropriate. Literotica needs a section for just cuckold/ cuckoldress stories.

yeah, frustrating. I have started using Erotic Coupling because the trolls don't bother me as much there. Still, I don't 'get' why in any literotica category (except maybe non-erotic) anybody gets bent out of shape about the particular erotic act. I try to get honest responses from readers..the ones that seem to enjoy it beyond just the 'stroke potential are my obvious choice for readers, but you can't pick 'em!

I'll take a look at your stuff; examine mine as well......and keep writing!

As a cuckold with a loving wife. I think I’ll leave it in the LW catagory. Since my writings are experiences that I have lived out, and not fiction, I can’t use that either. I truly enjoy being a cuckold and she REALLY enjoys having “real men” on occasion, it works for us.

I haven't said anything on this section previously but I really don't think a separate cuckold section is necessary. My husband is not a cuckold but that doesn't stop me from enjoying the cuckold scenario as it is a sort of women's fantasy.
I have only recently submitted a few stories to Literotica which are usually with mature or lesbian centre pieces but with clearly cuckold involvements. Initial comments have been nice and there hasn't been any objection about the category.
