Just as a note, if there is no notice of a work being copyrighted, there is no reason to assume it is. And, of course, all our posts here are copyrighted in my country, so every time we quote someone's post we are violating their copyright.

And not indicating that a work is copyrighted doesn't mean that it is. Much on line is in the public domain. You can't decide a work is copyrighted because you don't know who took the picture or wrote the work. You seem to assume everything is under copyright unless the poster did it themselves, and that is unwarranted. I would appreciate it if you would be so honorable as to identify the copyright holder whenever you declare a post in contravention of the rule. You are, in fact, working on the premise that the poster is guilty untilproven innocent. The law does not work that way.
