OOC: Muse for The Priest ~ CLOSED for Veroe & yeishia.

The picture perhaps and the quote.

I realise that you don't know me very well, but I adore Anais Nin. I feel a great affinity to her. I have a first addition of her book of quotes and thy are littered throughout Solliquium. :rose:

This one is in my siggy...

~ Love never dies a natural death. It dies because we don't know how to replenish its source. It dies of blindness and errors and betrayals. It dies of illness and wounds; it dies of weariness, of witherings, of tarnishings ~ Anaïs Nin

.

I remember you liked a lot of them enough to post them in the Quote a day thread and it was indeed a good one in your siggy, but I didn't want to make assumptions about you and ms. Nin.

For me it would be Oscar Wilde he always has some really good quotes that applies to me personally.

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.

Women are made to be loved, not understood.

Those who are faithful know only the trivial side of love: it is the faithless who know love's tragedies.

How close are you to posting in our thread? Do you need help?

Isn't that the truth, applies to both members of our species I think.

Women are made to be loved, not understood.

Giggles..that's a total cop out on his part I think.

I totally disagree with him here. Those who love deeply and faithfully, loose deeply. It is a death only known to this small minority. The faithless never even scratch the surface of such a profound tragedy.

I'll try and get it done by Saturday afternoon at the latest to give you plenty of time to work with sat. night and sunday.

What would you say is Jenny's preference in clothing?

The way I see our three main characters in this subject its:

Daemon-favors the more simple, austere, and functional style (In line with what he'd wear as a priest)
Christian-prefers the more flamboyant, unusual, and theatrical in his wardrobe.
So that leaves Jenny's fashion aesthetic. What would you say it was?

I think it depends on the time line.

Before Daemon , combat boots, short plaid skirts, skimpy shirts, ripped jeans the garb of rebellion, think sexy goth lol.

With Daemon, as his submissive, at first his will would her wish. His aesthetic would evolve into clothing with simple classic lines, timeless beauty. Sensuality personified.

I think her tastes would change when Christian enters the equation, with the addition of a more flamboyant flare for the dramatic.

she has a good body and isn't afraid to show it off. ( not so much during the naked meal with Daemon as she feels way to vulnerable.

As a Domanatrix, I think she developed her own style. This is where I would like to depart slightly from the books. I would like to evolve her beyond the commercial concept of a latex clad Domme. I want her persona to command respect rather than her garb.

What do you think?

Yes to all above.

I love the fact that her style would change in her different phases in her life, evolve as you will. I also love the plans you have to give a fashion sense that goes counter to the stereotype of a dominatrix, but how so exactly?

Theoretically let's say Jenny is training a newbie like Nora did for Michael in The Angel. That first night with him she wore a red corset and thigh high boots and leather mini-skirt, playing into the stereotype. What would Jenny wear in the same situation?
