This time it was simply to see who was still around!

Wow, seems like forever since I have checked in. Actually it has been.

It was nice to see some of the same people are still around.

Even a lot of the same threads! Note to self: Check in more often. You are still waking up at all hours of the night/morning. What better way to catch up with "old" friends.

My husband and I are swingers. When we meet a new couple at a meet and greet or whatever, one of the common questions that comes up is "how did you get into swinging?" When I would go through the whole story, I often got "you should write a book!" I started writing it, and realized I had no clue how to write it. I googled "how to write" and from there came to a story in the How-To section of Literotica. Since what I was writing was erotica, I decided to stick around.

One of the things I like best about Literotica is that it's a porn site with a lot of other women. I enjoyed the "Author's Hangout" until it became WAY too political. I was frequently in the How To until they put the brakes on off-topic threads. (Didn't notice they got smart and created the HT Cafe until later). My favorite forum is the Story Ideas forum. Just reading the ideas people post arouses me to no end. It's exposed me to a multitude of kinky ideas, some that have seen the light of day (or at least eagerly spread legs )

I was directed here by a guy I was discussing a FWB relationship with because I mentioned to him my vivid imagination. I stumbled across the stories and had a moment of revelation when I discovered that other people were openly writing about all those fantasies I was trying to shove back into their respective closets in my own head. Well, originally I came here for the porn (obviously), eventually discovered the forums, and now I think I write close to as many stories for Lit as I ever read.
Mostly though, I'm here for the forums. Sometimes I'll go poke around the stories if I'm in the mood for something in particular, but my actual porn intake lately tends to be from video websites. Lit has the advantage of being able to put out stuff that most movie porn can't really do very well for practical reasons.
