Obviously it would need to function in a way that gives the option of being in control or not. Some like the risk of giving up control, others are not that brave/foolish. Shouldn't be tought to make that happen. For safety reasons each partner would need to be able to interrupt the action on themselves with some sort of an emergency kill switch. Fantasy is one thing, but in real life, someone could get hurt either from improper use, mechanical failure, or a partner who is too aggresive.

I agree the cost factor will keep this from ever going anywhere. A few rock stars and kinky drug lords will buy one, but it will be far to expensive for the average person. The idea of having a sex shop set up where participants could go to have fun is hot to think about in theory/fantasy, but in reality the liability would far outweigh it being feasable.
