Pegasus' Wings (Mecha Lounge)

"I've never seen a ship like that before. Where'd you get that ship? Wait a minute...that's a VALUAN ship...you stole it didn't you? You're either very brave, or very stupid."

What about-oh crap-I can't remember the name.
Tenchi, Tenshi something. Anyway it was a harem anime where a kid gets some room mates one a hot space pirate, a princess, and space patrol officer. Did you like that one Razor.

Mmm, Ryoko and adult Washu.....

Parks my machine in the hanger and wonders around for a bit checking out other parked machines and such.

*one of the hangar spaces has a prototype Gundam based on the design of the ES Asher*

After taking a look at the machines Dragon keeps around I head up to one of the higher catwalks that over look the main part of the hanger, one that I can watch machines come and go from. Leaning on the railing I wonder what the next new Gundam anime might be about.

*steps up beside him* If I had anything to say about it, the next Gundam would be a first encounter scenario. Or our Gundam War idea.

I thought Gundam 00s idea of aliens was neat...
Though... After watching the movie, I hate how it ended.
Gundams with FTL drives seems kinda odd anyway..

A Gundam with an FTL drive...hmmm *stares up at the Asher-based Gundam, deciding not to reveal its capabilities to Amc, for fear of causing a heart attack*

Well the Gundam Qan[T] has well...

Thinks about it

Has some type of FTL drive or something..
So it's not new... Per say...
But a true Gundam with a non-haxs/plot FTL drive would be cool.
Though most likely would have to be on the bigger side.
Nu Gundam + size.
Not your Victory 2 sized MS probably.
Or would need to be like Strike Gundam and need a FTL drive pack.

Or the size of an ES unit. Or have a fully modular armor system. That reminds me, I had to run some tests on some of the Phoenix's armor modules. *steps over to a control panel, which displays a 3D virtual image of the larger than normal Gundam*

Are you talking about a Phoenix Gundam?
Like a full sized normal(non-SD) version of the Phoenix Gundam?
Or something based off something non Gundam..
Or your own Phoenix type Gundam?

Well, it seemed like a better name than Asher Gundam. Though I suppose Armor of Mars would do just as well. *manipulates the image, and mechanical limbs drop down from the ceiling and replace the armor modules with different ones, including a large scale twin wave motion cannon that mounted on the shoulders*

Can't help but think of a GM cannon when I see the wave motion cannon being mounted on the unit.

Not sure why I thought of that unit off the top of my head.

*grins, seeing the look on Amc's face* It's a dual wave motion system. Fires a stream of energized particles that oscillate frequencies. They tend to cause cataclysmic vibrations in their targets. Enemy ships literally shake themselves to pieces.

Oh it wasn't the tech that I was thinking about.
It's just i saw the cannon and for some reason the first image of a cannon mounted MS was a GM cannon.
I don't know why though lol
There are bigger better ones, like the RX-78-6 Mudrock.
and also a close 2nd MS was the semi-canon Dom Cannon type.
It can either have a shoulder mounted cannon or a dual cannon.

Hmm. First dual cannon mounted MS I remember was the Guncannon. That's nothing though. You should probably see the Dragoon frame.

Well the dom cannon is odd.
It's dual cannon is mounted on one side.
It's more like a double barrle cannon then a dual cannon set up oddly.

Heh. That sounds a lot like one of the F91-era GM Command units.

*runs his tests, then changes to the Dragoon frame, which had a strange looking thruster array on the back, which housed the Dragoon's Jump Drive system*

Yeah the F-90/F91 area MS are all a bit odd.
Well the non Gundams anyway.
Though to be fair the F-90 had a armor change system long before the Strike Gundam brought it to the main stream light.
The refined Zeon suits are kinda cool.
Grand Zam is kinda scary though.(it's also a bitch to fight... If your not leveled at all)

I actually liked the custom Guntank in F91. It struck me as how the GT should have been designed in the first place.

*Runs some tests remotely, and the Gundam glows, before vanishing, only to reappear a few minutes later*

Yeah there is a proto type version seen in Gundam Unicorn too.
Sadly the unit itself is a lot smaller then the first Guntank was though.
After CCA and probably Unicorn the MS sized went down rather then up.
The reason behind this was most if not all MS after Unicorn had Beam weapons.
They stopped caring about armor and made MS that were faster and smaller so they could dodge incoming beam fire since most beam weapons could blast holes in most armor.
They also started giving MS beam shields(F90 and beyond) over normal shields.

Now see, that's silly.

*does another armor switch, and the Dragoon frame is replaced by an antibeam armor and charged particle cannon mounted on one arm*
