If you did a remake, it might come out ok.
But other then that things will get messed with.... A LOT...
So yeah.
I mean the Zeta movies were cool
added in a few background shots of the Gundam Hazel unit or two.
A few MS from 0083 still in use and what not too.
But they were uber lazy.
Mixing old 80s animation with newer CG animation makes it looks really bad.
The new footage is really nice, but makes the older footage from the show look very very dated ><

Kind of like what they did with some of the newer Transformers cartoons lol

Fighter too. So that makes five.
Kinda like Final fantasy that way. The gimmicks to the show stay the same but the characters and setting and even backstory are completely different to each.
That in of itself makes it a bit interesting to me.

Oddly, Alternate Century shows tend to be more popular, even though the UC set is epic in comparison. To be honest, I didn't like 00 as much as I liked SEED and SEED Destiny, and I prefer almost the entirety of UC to both.

That's cool.
I think I've already demonstrated my preference for OO, but I did really like Seed, especially the callbacks to the original Mobile Suit Gundam's storyarc while still making their own story from it. I thought that was clever on the writers' part.

Well, essentially AC stories are for the most part supposed to be retellings.

I'm not sure where the made for TV movie G Saviour fits.

Not sure. I mean, I liked the concept of it, but something about the series itself didn't sit well with me.

And I absolutely HATED Gundam Wing, but I loved the OVA/Movie, Endless Waltz.

Gundam 00 is not that old.
It's only been a few years.
It came out in what? 2008? maybe late 2007?

It was released later in the US, I know that much. Significantly later. They apparently had to edit large sections of it because of where they originally had Setsuna being from. Actually, it's not like they HAD to, they just wanted to not offend anyone.

There were elements in Wing I liked. But they couldn't overcome my dislike of the whiny brats piloting the gundams.

Exactly. Couple that with the overly complicated relationships....everything up to Zeta in UC had only a couple of relationship triangles. But suddenly you get some sort of overlapping web of relationship drama, and....meh.

Also, it occurs to me that we Americans are REALLY easy to offend. Perhaps we should change the country's name from the United States to the Offended States.

Yeah. Some of them have yet to be animated (but exist in comic book form, like XX and so on). It should be noted that Unicorn is an OVA based on a series of novels that the original creators of the series consider to be canon.
