I'm guessing Jim Duvall, husband and photographer of Jane Duvall? I went to university in the city they live in (or used to live in; I haven't keep up with their site) and frequented thier sites early on.

some more of my raw shoot. i had a hugely emotional response to this play, which i will show you in a bit.

my psyche had been shaken to the core when shortly before this shoot i discovered my lover had been keeping some pretty twisted secrets. it caused even more of an edgey response than if i had been calm and content.

not knowing any of my history, and not knowing much about me, i am feeling you are passing some judgements that are inherently unfair. i offered these photos because someone asked for them. i did not get paid for any of the work i did, i am a 49 year old woman who is curious and open minded and (yes, generous) enough to provide some images to people who might enjoy them.

this does not particularly stroke my ego...i asked for feedback about the work itself and the response it might cause. i did not ask for feedback about me. so saying 'nice pics....get over yourself' gives me absolutely nothing to work with in regards to this thread.

we are, all, all of us, challenged to be a positive force and impact in each others lives. i believe this is why we are here.

The execution was flawless.

I wonder how much the choice of the type of rope affected the feel of the session and the look of the photos?

The photographer prefers to begin his sessions with his models naked, so that there are few rope marks on the skin. He uses hemp, a very fragrant rope pre-tied in different lengths. One special section of rope is one I call the 'pussy rope', which he uses to bind my pelvis with a well-placed knot directly over my clit. This rope now belongs to me since it has been personalized with my scent and I bring it to subsequent sessions.

He photographs with rope marks in mind throughout the bondage session; apparently these are valuable visually and so his lighting enhances the rope patterns on the skin.

The first time my arms were tightly bound behind me I developed some interesting feelings of claustrophobia and I got through this by breathing deeply. He is skilled enough as I said before to monitor my reflexive signs. Being suspended, especially upside down instilled some euphoria. But when the session was over and I was gently laid on the floor, I was exhausted.
