not knowing any of my history, and not knowing much about me, i am feeling you are passing some judgements that are inherently unfair. i offered these photos because someone asked for them. i did not get paid for any of the work i did, i am a 49 year old woman who is curious and open minded and (yes, generous) enough to provide some images to people who might enjoy them.

this does not particularly stroke my ego...i asked for feedback about the work itself and the response it might cause. i did not ask for feedback about me. so saying 'nice pics....get over yourself' gives me absolutely nothing to work with in regards to this thread.

we are, all, all of us, challenged to be a positive force and impact in each others lives. i believe this is why we are here.

It was the way you worded your second post. Your tone was that of "I put these pictures up so you all should be grateful." Certainly you have every right expect comments on your pics from the parties that requested them. But:

1. It was only two hours since your first post that you had not yet received any comments. The BDSM board moves slow, so a thread may sit for some time without any responses.

2. The people who view your pics but did not request them don't owe you anything.

Your second post was a "Hey! Pay attention to what I've done here!" to the board and not to select individuals (which perhaps should have been done through PM). So I simply suggested you get over yourself.

i never intended to set a tone of, 'you should be grateful'...never. it was not in my conscious thought. but by the time i posted my second post, i could tell that between 10-12 people had downloaded my pictures. no they do not 'owe' me anything except the courtesy of making a comment (positive OR negative). and i could not respond to select individuals because i had no idea who was viewing or not.

it amazes me how people assume the worst in others...i put up a thread, posted some pictures, and asked for some feedback. that is all. when you assume i am harsh, or have some agenda to stroke my own ego, it hurts and pisses me off.

but i have learned my lesson. opening up a thread like this left me wide open to anyone's snide comments about me, rather than critiquing my work. I wil not post any again. i do not need to 'get over myself" thank you and good night.

I modeled for the experience and left with a cd rom of raw images, that is all. all three sessions. I am beginning to hear my images are being sold in galleries. I think I will need to begin charging too, eh?

Funny that someone naming themselves "MechaBlade" and saying they are from "MechaLand" would suggest anyone else needing to "get over" themselves.

Late arrival

My wife and I are late arrivals to this thread and this site, having only now been made aware of it by the owner of these works of art. Being new to the experiment of shibari, rope (for this purpose), and suspension, we are grateful for the opportunity to "look in" on her art. Our observations, at first pass are at multiple levels.

First, you are a beautiful model, and thank you for sharing your beauty in such a brave, generous way.

Second, the poses and camera work are certainly skillful, and obviously the work of a professional. They transcend portait work, and convey stark emotions. We both were less than comfortable with the emotions portrayed, since, as a couple, our amatuer attempts at capturing emotions with our camera strike (or at least attempt to) a more warm and harmonious chord, using softer colors and textures. These photos do a GREAT job of conveying real pain and intensity, and were clearly never intended to make people comfortable.

Third, it was disappointing to find that, even here, on a site devoted to erotica, the elementary school lesson of "if you've nothing nice to say, say nothing" remains lost on a few people who prefer recognition for their negativity. Buntinggurl has LITERALLY bared herself in front of us all, and her motives for doing so should not be the subject of discussion. We feel the discussion should be limited to the appreciation and constructive critique (at worst) of the material she has chosen to share.

Thank you for your choice to share your art and your self with us in this way.
