I have to agree... the phone is pretty much limited to the sensations of your imagination and mind stimulation as to what you hear through voice and can't see except by giving some details along the experience. Don't get me wrong I think phone sex can be very erotic, sensual and down right sexy, especially if you also have a strong sexual connection with that special someone. There comes a point where messages and IM isn't enough. It's not something I do right away, but since words and hearing him say them is a big part of my arousal, finally hearing his voice as he directs my play or tells me the words we would have written is much more effective.
