here a bit from venezuela, from last fall. pictures are kind of small, but i hope you can see them anyway.

Hi all. I just discovered this thread and, as an avid and long-time photographer, I'm excited to participate. I've looked through a few pages at the beginning, and at the end. I have to admit that I find Munachi's pix rather fascinating. The Kitchen image is, perhaps, my favorite of the Peruvian images I saw, followed closely by the shot of the Street Dogs. I'd love to see larger versions of both.

As for me, I have a few pix I can share....

No awesome landscapes, just everyday traffic. It messes with my mind. After a nights right traveling the 30 miles to work most of the time is easy, if I leave early enough. Otherwise its this:

I was going through West Virginia last weekend, on my way to Pittsburgh to see my daughter get her PhD from Pitt. I'm trying to upload pictures but they all seem to be too large, dammit. And this, after pictures have been posted here that took up the whole screen, what's up with that?

And can someone tell me why I had to dick around with my pictures almost infinitely in order to get them to upload, while other people have uploaded pictures so large that you now have to scroll from side to side just to read a simple piece of text?

I didn't upload my pix to the Lit server.
I posted them elsewhere and linked to them.
Thus, I do not have to contend with any size
limits that Lit puts on their uploads.

SlickTony, that's exactly the reason. Other people are hotlinking into Lit with the IMG tags instead of uploading to the site.
